Chapter 13

Demi and I sat cuddled for a while. She wiped my tears away with her thumbs and smiled at me. I slowly got out of bed seeing it was 7 o'clock. Dinner time. She watched me carefully. I walked out of the room she followed behind me. I made some ramen. It was chicken, I prefer beef. Who doesn't? Demi just finished making hers and sat next to me.
"I didn't choose the ramen life, the ramen life chose me." I chuckled smiling at her.
"I definitely chose the ramen life." She said smiling.
"How do you choose the ramen life?"
"By buying it at the store." She said laughing at my pout.
"Why do you buy chicken?"
"Because it is definitely the best."
"No, it isn't," I shook my head quickly,"Beef is."
" I will keep that in mind." She said before grabbing my bowl and her's and taking it to the sink. She was humming a song. I decided to check my messages. A few three from Hunter and 4 from Allie. I messaged them saying I was fine before laying my head on the cool counter my headache was throbbing. I made my way upstairs while Demi was watching some crime shows. I sang a little song as I walked up the stairs. I quickly showered and got dressed my wet hair freezing my shoulders. I fell asleep quickly.
I woke up around 6 and headed downstairs to make some cereal. I grabbed the fruity pebbles before pouring my self a bowl. The TV was on, strange. I looked on the couch and saw Demi passed out on the couch. I picked her up and put her in her bed before tucking her in. I went back downstairs to finish my cereal and turn off the TV. I went back up to my room to change and go workout. I left a note before running to the headquarters. I worked out for a few hours before heading back home. I opened the door and Demi was half dressed walking around.
"What are you doing?" I asked her laughing.
"I have an interview in an hour." She said before running back up the stairs. Hopefully to put a shirt on. I made some eggs before she came down and put them on a plate. She grabbed it before quickly scarfing it down. I laughed at her while playing a game on my phone. She playfully glared at me.
"I gotta run kiddo, love you." She smiled at me while hugging me.
"Love you Dems." I smiled at her.
"Text me when you go places, okay?" I nodded and she smiled before hugging me again before rushing out the door.
"Keys!" I yelled after her before I heard her run back in and grab her keys. This is my stuff silence, no one. Not that I don't like having Demi around. I sat on the couch reading I put on some very loud music. I heard a knock at the door. I quickly got up to answer the door singing while walking over. I opened it.
"Hey kid, Demi asked me to check on you." Lauren said before smiling at me.
"Hey Lo, want to come in?" She nodded and I let her in forgetting about my rap playing 'Gas Pedal' was currently playing. I quickly turned it off before sheepishly smiling at her.
"Interesting choices." She smiled at me. I nodded.
"Doing anything interesting lately?" I asked as we sat on the couch.
"Just getting ready for tour next week, baby!" She said smiling excitedly.
"I need to pack, shoot." I said before making a mental tally of what I would need.
"If you want I can help." Lauren said smiling. I shrugged and led her to my room. There were cloths on the floor. I quickly ran around picking stuff up before grabbing a suitcase.
"Lets get this party started." I said chuckling.
"What do we need?" She asked before going over to my closet.
"I don't know. This isn't my tour." We spend the next hour or so joking and packing my suitcase before we heard the door open.
"Baby!" Demi yelled through the house.
"Up here!" I yelled. Me and Lauren had finished packing and now my suitcases were sitting in the middle of the room and we were on the bed her arms wrapped around me as we watched netflix. I heard Demi's feet come quickly up the stairs.
"Watch the suitcases." I said quickly, it was almost too late she barely jumped over them.
"Hey Lauren, how are you?" Demi said standing in the middle.
"Good with this little munchikin." She smiled. She poked my sides under the cover I giggles. She started tickling me.
"Mom! Help me!" I yelled out giggling. She started tickling me.
"Mercy, mercy!" I yelled out laughing. Demi only started to tickle me as well. When they finally stopped I pouted.

"That's not fair you tag teamed me." A smile overtook my face.

Demi only laughed as she put some stuff in my suitcase I seemed to have forgotten.

"I gotta go Kiddo I'll see you later ." Lauren say with a smile on her face as she kisses my forehead. I hear her footsteps as they find their way to the door. Demi came from the hallway holding a few things to go in her suitcase.

"Did you eat dinner yet?" Demi asked.

"No, takeout please?" I asked.

She nodded turning around before I could hear the stuff drop and her talking to the takeout guy. I continued to pack my stuff. To bring a swimsuit or to leave a swim suit.

"Mom!" I yelled.

She came in quickly with a bat. I looked at her confused before grabbing a swimsuit.

"Do I need it?" I asked with my eyebrows raised.

"Yes, and I like the black one." She said lowering her bat with a smile.

"Thanks, mom." I smiled at her she nodded and went to walk out.

"Watch the suitcases." I said quickly but it was too late as she had already fallen. She grunted.

"I'm good, I'm good." She said getting up.

"Are you sure?" She nodded before walking out taking her bat.

I continued packing, putting my swimsuit in a suitcase. I also grabbed my work duffel and my travel backpack and put a few things in the bag along with some oreos that I kept in my bag. One of my favorite songs came on, 'Teenagers'. I turned that all the way up before dancing all over the room. I heard the doorbell ring before Demi was walking across the house as I saw walk past my door with a grin on her face. I let her pay this time to make her happy. I turned down my music and put my suitcases against the wall all zipped up and ready. I made my way downstairs jumping down the last five before bumping into Demi.

"Sorry, mom." I said looking down before looking at her again.

"It's fine babe." She said before pushing me into the kitchen where some hot pizza was waiting for me. She got my favorite cheese. I know I'm a tab bit basic but that's okay. I grabbed two plates and handed one to Demi before grabbing my slice of pizza before sitting on the stools by counter. I also grabbed some orange soda and napkins. I ate mine quickly and Demi slowly as she was on instagram. I put my dish in the dishwasher before going upstairs to change because your girl has been eating alot of takeout. I changed into some workout pants and a muscle tee. I went down the stairs, slowly this time.

"I'm going to workout I'll be back in a bit." I said to mom.

"Okay, be careful hon." She said giving me a hug. I nodded

I slipped out the door making sure I had my keys and ID before getting into my car telling the security guys what I was doing. As I started my drive I realized a red car following me. I quickly went in a circle and did a few random turns and they sure enough were following me. I texted Demi quickly and called Ally. It took a few rings before she picked u[.

"There's a car and it's following me. It's red I don't know what to do Ally." I said barely breathing.

"Bunny it's okay just calm down. Come by where we usually go. I'll be there waiting." I ended the call before turning my course around. I drove as fast as I could. They tail ended me. Before I could do anything I crashed into a building in front of me. My vision faded as I slowly pushed the emergency button on my phone before hiding in in my jacket. I could hear a few things before my hearing left and everything was silent and dark.
