She loves someone,
She feels she can never have.
He loves a girl,
Who's so broken and sad.
She thinks he doesn't notice.
She feels he doesn't care.
He fears for her well being.
He's afraid she'll disappear.
She doesn't know he loves her.
She feels it's best if she didn't exist.
He doesn't know she loves him.
He paints a picture upon his wrist.
She lays awake at night.
She screams and she cries.
He doesn't feel alright.
He can't stop believing the lies.
She tries to win this fight,
But she no longer feels alive.
He continues to try.
He doesn't think he'll survive.
She chokes on her own misery.
She puts herself through hell.
He tortures himself with memories,
Of stories he'll never tell.
She's losing all her strength.
She can barely force a smile.
He doesn't know what to do anymore,
And decides to go away for a while.
She can't stand the pain,
And she can't take the self hate.
He's fought so hard,
But it seems it's too late.
Her body is cold,
And her heart has stopped beating.
He only sees red,
Because the cuts won't stop bleeding.
Blinded by emotion, rejection, and fear,
The two young lovers are no longer here.
