The Shadow and The Sand ( Gaara love story)

Chapter 5

"Being your bodyguard is so boring!"

It's been about three weeks since my fight with Kagetoki. And needless to say, those three weeks have been the most uneventful period of time ever! Nothing really happened, all I basically do is follow Gaara around. Nothing to special. The high light of the week was probably when there was a spider in my shower and I refused to bathe until someone killed it.

Anyway, right now I'm in Gaara's office sitting on the corner of his desk looking out the window.

"Do you mind not sitting there? Your distracting me."

I looked at Gaara with an annoyed expression.

"Well I want to look out the window and the couch is on the other side if the room. Maybe you should put some sort of window seat and I might not sit on your desk anymore."

I stood up and went to sit on the couch. I crossed my arms and closed my eyes. Sigh.

'Maybe I should check to see if there are any mysterious people lurking around.'

I used my shadows to help me survey the area. Nothing but some kids going home or the occasional ninja coming home from a mission. I guess that's good. I was about to open my eyes when I sensed a presence on a near by building.

'Who could that be'

I let my shadows come closer to the person which was pretty easy considering it's about 11 o'clock at night. That's when I saw the person make a hand sign, and I immediately opened my eyes.

"Gaara get away from the window now!"

He looked at me in confusion. I felt a chakra presence outside the window

"Look out!"

Just when I put up my shadow barrier a loud explosion took out the wall.

"Are you ok?" I asked while looking at the now destroyed wall behind my shadows.

"I'm fine." Gaara said as he was putting on his gourd.

The smoked cleared and they were met by a man with black hair pulled into a pony tail, piercing blue eyes, and what looked like some sort of dress.

"Who are you and what do you want?"

I glared at the man while keeping my guard up.

The man chuckled then smirked.

"I am Henta. And why I'm here? I'm here for the Kazekage!" He yelled while running over to us.

I blocked him with my shadows when I was thrown into a wall. I growled and activated my Shadow Eyes. I looked the man in the eyes and my glared hardened.

"Another Taira dog. Heh. I'll just kill you like I killed Kagetoki!"

I stood up and ran at Henta. Completely forgetting about Gaara. I jumped and kicked him in the head sending him flying into an outside building. I was about to jump after him when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at my side when I saw Gaara.

"Be careful"

"Heh. I'm your bodyguard Gaara. It's my job to die protecting you. Plus, it takes a lot to kill me so don't worry."

I gave him a smile before I jumped out the side of the building. When I got to the place that Henta landed I looked around, my red eyes seeming to glow more sinister, and monstrous. I focused my chakra to my feet and sensed for any vibrations.

My shadows jumped up to protect me when Henta almost punched me. He growled then jumped away.

"Fire style: Dragon Flame jutsu!"

He started to breathe fire and I didn't even bother to dodge.

"Heh. You didn't even try to dodge. You must really want to die huh girl?"

He stared at the flames, when he heard laughter from within the flame.

"Do you think that fire could kill me? Come on! My first element before I could control my shadows was fire!"

Henta stared in shock as the once orange yellow flames turned to a black purple color. Then in the center he saw red eyes.

"Grrrraaaaaaahhhh!"

I clapped my hands together and watched as the fire formed a tornado and hit Henta. He screamed in pain as his flesh burned. The screams brought out many people from their homes. They all had a look of horror and fear. Some gagged at the smell of burning flesh, as I breathed it in in contentment.

"Heheheheheh..... hahahahahhahah!"

I started laughing uncontrollably as the many villagers stared at me in fear. I stared at them as my teeth turned into fangs and my claws started to come out. I gripped my head in pain.

"Ahhhh. Get. Out. Of. My. Head!" I screamed as I let a blast of energy from my hand. Just barely missing some villagers as they all ran away screaming.

I felt myself being taken over by Kimera. Yet, it wasn't Kimera who was taking over. With the little sanity I had left I looked at where Hentas body laid. Only, instead of being dead, he was staring at me with the look of victory in his eyes.

"Yes! The all powerful demon Kimera is now mine! And with your power I shall take over the world! Starting with the Sand Village."

'No! I have to stop this!' I started to try to fight off the control that Henta had on my mind. 'I can't let him hurt those people! I can't let him destroy what little friend ships I made here!'

"Graaaahhhhh!"

I slammed my head into a near by building. My body already showing that I was half possessed. I had two large creature like arm and hind leg on my left side I had a snake tail and had what was like a lions mane around my neck. my skin was turning a dark grey almost black. I felt the skull of a goat on my back as my body started to morph.

'I... I can't keep fighting.... I .... I'm sorry Gaara.' I felt myself loose what little sanity I had and everything went black.

Cliff hanger! I always wanted to so this! hahah anyway what do you guys think so far? pretty good huh? xp any ways what's happening to Yoru? will she be able to take control again or will she be Hentas puppet for ever? what about Gaara? What will he do?
