Chapter 2

They stared at me in shock before cat ears spoke.

"What.. What do you mean you know everything about me? We've only just met! That's not possible. Unless. You're a spy!?"

"Heh," I chuckled to myself at his remark. "I'm no spy. But if you must know how I know everything about you. Then it's because of my Kekki Genkai. Just by looking someone in the eyes or just by simply touching them I'm able to learn everything I need to know about that one person. Their past, present, and sometimes even future. Their likes, dislikes. Who've they've been hanging around. Their fighting style and all that good stuff. Theirs nothing I don't know about them. And it really comes to my advantage when I use those memories against them." I sAid with a smirk.

After letting that bit of information go through their minds. They all turned to look anywhere but my eyes. 'Heh did they think that I didn't look at their eyes before I started talking to them all?'

'Let them figured it out themselves if they try to attack you girl.'

I slightly nodded my head in agreement with her.

'Anyways, enough abut me. What is my mission and what do you mean by 'protect you'?" I asked looking at them all.

"You mean you don't know what your mission is?" Said the blond, Temari.

"Yeah. Yoshino didn't tell me about what I was supposed to be doing. He just told me to head over here. Now I know why." I said with a grimace.

Temari sighed then said, "Well your mission is to be the body guard to the Kazekage."

I looked at the Kazekage, Gaara, and surprisingly he was looking at me too. Our eyes met and I felt my face start to heat up. 'What.. What the hell! Why am I getting all flustered over this guy!' We continued to stare at each other before Kankuro broke the silence.

"Well. Yeah your supposed to be his bodyguard and protect him from these enemies that have been hanging around the village lately. They said that the ninja from the Hidden Shadow Village where the only ones strong enough to defeat them."

'We're the only ones that can defeat them? Does that mean...'

'It seems like the Taira has come out of hiding. If that's the case than you must on your toes at all times girl.'

I stood in thought for a moment before speaking. "These enemies. Are they called the 'Taira'?"

"Yes." Came a reply from Gaara. "How do you know what they call themselves?

"Because the Taira have been enemies of my village since it started. We've been at each other's throats for ages. Lately they've been disappearing and suddenly they were gone. Now it seems like they have risen up again. But this time it seems like their targeting other villages. Maybe their trying to either set us up. Or trying to form an alliance with the great villages to engage us in war."

"They are not trying to form an alliance with us. Because if they did, they wouldn't have tried to break into the village and attack the Kage tower." Said Gaara.

'Could it be because now that they realize that they have no way of defeating our village that they're trying to look for a weaker village to take over?'

"Possibly." Said Temari.

"Whoops. Did I say all that out loud?" I said looking at them in confusion.

"Yeah. You kind of did." Replied Konkuro while trying not to meet my eyes. "Wait. What do you mean by a 'weaker village'? The Sand Village is NOT weak! I'm probably much stronger than you girly!" He yelled while pointing at me.

"I never said that you were weak. It was just a thought that their trying to find a weak village." I said while looking at him. "But if your so keen on trying to fight me lets do it then. Because you seem to not think I'm strong enough to protect you Kage." I told Kankuro.

They stared at me in shock.

"Fine. I'll fight you. But don't start crying when I beat your ass girly."

"Heh, And don't start crying when you can't even touch my ass kitty"

And just like that a small rivalry began.

'Well this is going to be intresting'
