Suicide Squad with a Twist

Chapter 4

Amanda Waller walked down the corridor towards The Jokers cell thinking of how she was going to get him to help her. 'For Harley's sake' No he would just laugh, well he will just laugh at everything... She sighed as she approached the doors and took a deep breath in. She straightened her suit and swung the doors open to her mouth wide open at the scene in front of her.

"Let go of him" she said in the calmest tone possible. The Joker was in his cell holding the young guards arm and twisting it behind his back. He turned his head to glare at Amanda and let go of the boy who just fell to the ground groaning holding his arm which was now swollen. 'He will definitely be useful' she thought after seeing what he could do. The Joker had managed to escape his straight jacket and grab the guards arm, truly amazing.

The Joker strides towards the bars wrapping his two palms around them and held his tattooed hand with the grin over his mouth. He squinted his eyes to make it look as if he was laughing. Waller was definitely interested now "I have a business proposal. I've heard your a man of business so here's the deal. You help me and I help you expand your business(his club)" she kept a firm posture while she spoke staring him straight in the eye not breaking contact.

The Joker removed his hand and had a real grin on his face. His signature grin, the one that sends shivers down anyone's spine, but not Wallers, which annoyed him the most. "Don't you know who I am?" He asked with a gravelly, dry voice.

Amanda stood still and nodded her head up and down "Of course, your The Joker, The Clown Prince of Crime, but I think there's a lost man in you somewhere." She finished off with a step forward. She just wants to sweet talk him to saying yes to the deal.

The Joker tutted her shaking his finger in front of his face back and forth. "Y'see Waller, that man has been lost for years and will never be found. But I will say yes to your deal." He smirked and added "I guess it's a win, win for me....Amanda"

Not much things could scare Amanda Waller but The Joker knowing her name was definitely one of them. It caused so much questions to stir up in her head. 'Does he spy on me? Did he see me before? What did he mean by a win, win?' Waller tried not to show fear as this would make her look vulnerable and weak, and they were two things Waller was not.

She left without saying another word to hear The Joker laughing that horrid, mocking laughter. She tried to take her kind of things but to no avail. His words kept ringing in her head like it was a broken record. 'A win, win for me......Amanda.' She shivered as soon as she closed the doors shut behind her. "Well, that's the hard part done.." She sighed and began to messages her temples with the tips of her fingers. 'I really need a strong drink right now'
