Suicide Squad with a Twist

Chapter 8

The squad arrived at a glass building where Rick had told them their target to pick up was. No one knew all the details but had to go through with it otherwise their heads would get blown off, so they had no choice. The Joker kept to the back eyeing up Ricks tablet again thinking of ways to snatch it from him. Rick was not a thick man and knew what he was up to "You ain't getting this from me, so don't even try" he held it up and put it in his backpack even more safe than his pocket. The Joker growled "Well now that's no fun.." He mumbled trying to keep up with everyone. His arm had stopped bleeding for now, which wasn't really good as he wasn't getting as much attention from Harley. He kept trying to make scenarios where she would have to be with or talk with him, but it never worked.

As they walked through the building Rick told everyone they had to make it to the top floor and being Harley she decided it was best to make a slight detour on the elevator. As she stepped in the door started to close just as The Joker slipped through the gap. She rolled her eyes as he stood leaning against the glass beside her. He chuckled waving down to the rest of the team who were all packing up and began to head for the stairs.

Harley began to twirl her pink braid around her finger chewing on some bubble gum. The Joker sighed "Listen Harley, I'm sorry for leaving you there... But I didn't have a choice! It was either I escaped or me and you both get sent back to prison?" He said turning to face her but she kept looking away from his gaze "Well your plan didn't work did it? Now both of us are stuck in this mess!" She became angry at the last bit and looked up at him narrowing her eyes. Joker walked closer to her and brushed the back of his hand down her cheek "Your so hot when your mad" He chuckled but she didn't find it very amusing. He quickly came back "I mean, you are always hot of course." He purred edging closer to her shoulder, beginning to nip at her ear and kiss along her neck. She giggled and grabbed his face with both her hands "Your just impossible!" She laughed and pushed her tongue into his mouth. He returned the kiss with equal passion, lifting her up and wrapping her legs around his waist. He pushed her against the elevator wall, devouring her mouth, enjoying the moment while it lasted. At that moment the glass shattered and another alien creature landed on the ground. The Joker, not even removing his tongue from Harley's mouth, shot it right between the eyes receiving another cute giggle from Harley.

The squad panted running up the stairs , in sheathing their weapons as they waited outside the elevator ready for another full-on attack, but got an attack of a different sorts. The elevator opened in the middle of Harley and Jokers make-out session causing every squad member to choke on a vomit also making Joker push Harley off him and she landed on the ground staring adoringly at the clown that stood before her. She stood up brushing off her clothes as The Joker wiped his mouth and exited the lift getting a stare from everyone "What?!" He snapped glaring into each and everyones eyes. They all whipped their heads away, following him down towards the stairs. Harley kept to the back sighing every now and then, disappointed their loving was cut short.

The Joker hummed to himself strolling down the halls pretty pleased with himself. Hopefully that little 'thing' meant Harley had forgiven him but you never know with a crazy girl like that. He still had a few more tricks up his sleeve that were bound to get her approval.
