This isn't really explaining why band is a sport but I need help. I realized halfway through after school rehearsal that marching season ends Saturday. Saturday is the last time I will ever perform this show. I am literally crying right now, it's horrible. I'm only a freshman, so luckily I have 3 more marching seasons, but I can only imagine how all you seniors feel. (I love you Amanda!!!) However, that means I get to play my French horn gain so YEAH BOI!!! Oh wait, sorry, inside joke... But yeah. If you're not in band, or your band doesn't necessarily have a 'marching season', and yes, sadly there are bands who don't march a show or at all, really, please comfort those crying band kids when you see them. They just abandoned one of the most influential few months in their life, and have to wait another year to have it back. So please, try to understand, and I love you marching season!!! Concert season here I come!!! And to all the seniors out there, we love ya, we know you're not gone yet, but we will miss you when you are.
