The Howler's

Chapter 2

     Katy heard loud footsteps coming nearer to the washroom. She scented a girl with some strange perfume that was holding......something. Katy quickly scurried into a stall and slammed the door shut and locked it.

     " Oh! Esmeralda is it you?" the girl asked walking in the washroom looking in the mirror putting lipstick on.

     The girl had long blonde hair that was neatly put into a ponytail with blush on and long eyelashes. She had a long red dress as if she went to the ball. Katy, disgusted called back." No. This is somebody else," 

     Katy shocked, regretted that she had said anything to her. The girl turned around about to peer in the door cracks. Katy, alert swiftly took off her jacket and covered the cracks.

     " Ugh! Your so stupid! Just let me see what you look like!" the girl moaned frusterated and in an odd voice." You you will just bow to my feet in seconds I-I..."

     Katy rolled her eyes when she heard the girl starting to cry. But it wasn't because of her, Katy peered out the cracks of the door and saw her hair stuck to a faucet.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!"The girl yelled and suddenly, she disappeared!

     Katy had enough of this. Her day was ruined and she had no clue why. Many weird thing's happened. She ran out of the washroom, her tail tucked in her pants and her hood from her sweater covered her ears and didn't dare to smile at anyone. She ran down the corridor stealthy running past the cafeteria without anyone noticing and pushed open the exit door and hurried down the steps of Eagle Sides high school. She looked all around her for an easy escape. Sewers! 

     Katy ran down the steps and went onto the calm street and quickly opened the lid to the sewers and crawled in. Until someone noticed her. A man with a hair like Elvis Presleys.

     "Hey! You!" The man instantly ran towards katy, but Katy was to fast for him she closed the lid and went down the ladder.

     Katy climbed down into a mucky stench that was as thick as mud. It sucked her feet in. She struggled to walk. Soon she saw to ways to go. Both were long corridors that had a dome roof and the same mucky stench that was everywhere. Katy sighed heavily and trudged on. After a while the muck started slowly turning into water. Katy was thankful for that, but suddenly a big echoing wave sound crashed into katy's wolf like ears. She then knew that the mucky stench was blocking more water behind it and building up power to form a wave. Katy instantly ran faster than she thought she would in the water.

     She then smelled a big yucky mucky wave coming her way, and FAST. She ran faster. Soon she saw a dead end in the sewers with a deep deep deep deep deep VERY deep pit. Katy could hardly see the bottom even though daylight was peeking through a big hole in the wall. Katy hesitated and looked back and forth waiting for the wave, or if she should jump already. There would be no choice, she would eventually fall in. She gulped some saliva and jumped with the wave that caught up and smashed her back in mid-air. 

     Katy's stomach lurched, twisted, and turned. She kept falling finding little fishies swimming around in the deep deep deep deep VERY deep water. Katy gasped when she instantly hit the cold water. She tried to look for a way out. I guess the humans wouldn't build some escape route down here because nobody ever goes down here Katy thought now astonished that she hadn't called herself a human anymore.

     " Need help?" A voice answered from above.

     Katy looked up seeing a dark shape from above her coming down from on a line. She saw a boy with a pure white tail, ears, and teeth. He smiled kindly. His hair covered one of his eyes, with very blonde hair. He also had a bad scar running down his face.

     " I'm Carter," He said almost falling in the water." Sorry to startle you, your lost from home aren't you?"

     Carter was directly touching noses with Katy upside down. Katy burst back and shook her head.

     "I-I'm not lost," Katy growled treading water unsteadily." Just go away"

     Carter looked confused raising an eyebrow.

     "Well I ca-" Carter cut off by falling in the water.

     " Now get on with it and help her you GOOF!" A girl's voice viciously snapped." Stop flirting!"

     " Right sorry..." Carter began also treading water unsteadily." We know your scared and we can explain, come on,"
