The Howler's

Chapter 7

     Katy dashed into the hole with Carter behind her tail. Katy ran through many holes trying to find the leaders den.

     "So?!" Katy hissed loudly glaring at Carter."WHERE IS THE LEADER'S DEN YOU IDIOT!!"

     Carter instantly jumped straight to it. Katy was quickly lead to a gloomy tunnel hidden under a nurses bed. Bones were laid in little shelves with different signs: Rabbit bones, Dog bones, Cat bones, Human bones, WIFE BONES?! Katy shuddered seeing pretty white bones looking exactly like a normal Wolf persons bones. There was also little tuffs of White fur laying there too.

     Katy suddenly found herself in a very dark and tight space. She knew it was a special Black light where Wolf people couldn't see in. Katy saw two yellow gleaming eyes staring at Katy as if he were looking in her mind. Is he a mind whisperer? Katy thought nervously looking around for exit, but it was no use. They had to tell the leader fast. 

     "Sir....I-I'm Katy, the newcomer, I-we h-have bad new...sss" Katy hesitated looking down and around frightened.

     " And who is "WE"?!" A low and crimson voice called back. That must be the leader.

     "Me a-and Carter," Katy spoke back to him trying not to show fright in her voice.

     " Carter, I assume? Well you two seem to want to marry...do you not?" The voice answered behind her.

     Katy flinched, telling herself to move but her body wouldn't budge. 

     " Nooo dad.....we aren't-" Carter broke off hearing a big crash, Katy yelped.

     "AND WHO'S FATHER'S IS YOURS YOUNG MAN?!?!?!" The voice boomed over Carter."Now then why are you wasting my time? SPEAK." 

     " Well their are sighting's of 4 humans outside our territory-" Katy silently took a deep breath alert that she was wasting his time." And they are carrying a hose, a big one, I suppose they are trying to fill our hole?"

     A light clicked on, Katy squinting. The face of the man who murdered his wife showed.

     "Why didn't you tell me SOONER!??" The leader strictly growled as he marched out of his hole.

     Katy and Carter stared at each other wide-eyed. The then silently walked out of the hole behind him. Katy thought that the leader was going to sound the alarm, but he wasn't.

     He called his 6 guardians and left the hole and looked down at Katy and Carter one last time.

     "You two are in charge for getting everyone out, and we 7, must find their camp," The Leader hissed.

     Katy and Carter nodded. A tingling sensation crept up alone Katy's spine, Nervousness. They both quickly sounded the alarm and Carter spoke in the speaker. 

     " Every wolf-person gather by the entrance...QUICK!" Carter called but no one came."There's Humans outside about to drown come to the entrance QUICK!!!"

     No wolf-person skipped a beat, and started to make there way to the entrance was suddenly blocked with a metal rim and blue skin in the inside.

     "The hose!!!" A wolf person yelled." We're trapped!"

     Everyone panicked. The noise of water started sprouting from in the hose. Water jetted out. Katy ran down a random hole. This was the end of her life.
