Katy saw a great big ceiling like a opera theater. They came from the back door and sat down on hard wood. She suddenly saw the leader, the same look as from the portrait she saw. She shivered at the thought of when Carter told her that he was abandoned by his father and murdered his mother.
The leader was walking onto the stage slowly, with a huge red cape draping over his shoulders. Katy thought that he was a stupid filthy leader that was always so respected.
" The alarm has rung once again, and we are again in great danger," The leader spoke loudly without a microphone." The Guardians will save us once again, and yes, I know you are all curious of what is happening. There are humans invading our land to build another big home. They are mean ones. They know us and they kill us. And they seem to have a strong leader!"
Suddenly the whole audience of wolf people plummeted into gasps of horror. Katy wondered why. Katy then looked at Carter who's mouth was open wide with a surprised and shocked expression.
"What's going on?" Katy whispered quietly to Carter.
"One of the elder wolves could tell future only once in her lifetime of dreams, and she had one true dream where a Great human leader will hold the dead body of the nine Guardians and the leader," Carter spoke slowly." And one will rip the soul out of the human body and abandon her family,"
Katy heard the "her". So it wasn't a boy. It was obviously a girl. Katy also knew that it wouldn't ever be her, because she was just so new here. And all this stuff happened to quick. After a few hours sitting on hard wood the audience was dismissed. Katy's bum was stiff and sore, as she walked out of the crowded door.
Many people were whispering and glancing at a big muscular clanborn wolf. She was ripped all right. She had blue fur and she was pretty much as tall and as big as Katy. She could tell that, that scary girl was the Beta. The Beta smirked as she noticed the crowd whispering and glaring at her. Katy thought that Beta was definitely the one girl said in the prophecy.
"I hate her already, she was just informed as Beta three days ago," Carter mumbled quietly into Katy's ear.
The Beta flinched and turned around to meet eyes with his.
"You know i have the best ears here "Carter""Beta sneered marching over to him."You said that you hate me!!"
" N-no I didn't, I truly s-said-" Carter was cut off by being picked up by the scruff.
Beta put her hand in front of his face, fingers curving into a fist. Katy felt instant sympathy for Beta, but then suddenly twisting into anger. Katy saw Beta about to punch Carter when she leaped into the air spiraling madly when everyone stopped to see her wings unfolded into great big black wings. Beta dropped Carter as she started to walk away slowly.
Katy rushed toward Carter seeing him gasping for breath. Carter raised his hand for Katy to pull him up. Carter smiled, Katy smiled back.
That was literally was her first boy friend.
