Calum's pov

"M-me?" I ask Zoe.

Zoe liked me.

She nods, slowly. 

I couldn't believe this. I really like Zoe and to hear that  she likes me too, just makes everything about my life feel better.

"Oh my," my eyes widen even more.

Ashton walks in, "What's going on?"

"Oh- N- nothing," Zoe says.

He suspects something,"Zoe, what's going on?"

"Andre broke up with me," she lies.

We both knew that she was hiding the fact that we like each other because Ashton would never approve.

"Oh cool," he says, grabbing an apple, and leaving.

"What an ass," Zoe scoffs.

I chuckle.

"Why?" I ask.

"Why what?" She sits down.

"Why do you like me?"

She thinks long and hard before answering, "I like you because you're funny, nice, caring, you always make me feel better, even thigh sometimes you can be really annoying, you are incredibly hot, and you have an amazing singing voice."

My smile grows from one ear to the other.

"Why do you like me?" She asks.

I don't hesitate one bit, "I've told you a couple times, but I'll keep repeating the reasons. I like you because you're funny, your smile makes me happy, you have a great fashion sense, you're really sexy, and, when we first met, you trusted me, even though I could've been a pedophile."

She starts laughing at the last part.

"So," I break the silence that sat there for a while.

She just looks up at me without saying anything, which I took as a signal to talk.

"What are we gonna do now?" I ask.

"We can't do anything. Ashton would never approve and I just got out of a relationship. I can't just get into a new relationship," She explains.

"No, I get it," I nod.

We sit there in uncomfortable silence. She plays with her fingers, trying to distract herself from everything and I just watch her.

Then, I ask her something I thought I would regret, "Can I kiss you? I-I just want to know how it feels."

She looks a bit shocked, but, surprisingly, she nods.

I smile and get closer to her, I cup my hands on her cheeks and slowly lean in, I start kissing her, and she starts kissing back.

After 10 seconds, she pulls away.

Woah. That was amazing.

She widens her eyes when she sees Luke standing right behind us.

"Are you kidding me?" Luke scoffs, before storming off.

We both go after him. We find him in his room pacing around.

"Luke,"  Zoe softly says.

He looks up, still angry, and screams at Zoe, "You're cheating on your boyfriend. I don't want to hear anything come out of your whore mouth!"

  "Luke!" I yell.

"You need to learn how to keep your dick in your pants!" He yells at me.

"Luke, Andre and I broke up because he knew that I liked Calum and he was very sweet about it. So, Calum and I were talking and we agreed that we shouldn't be anything, in respect for Ashton and Andre. Then, Calum asked if he could kiss me because he wanted to know how it felt. That's all," Zoe explains.

"Oh. I-I'm sorry," he calms down.

"Why were you so worked up like that?" I ask him.

He sits on his bed and Zoe sits on the left side of him and I sit on the right.

"A couple months ago, I walked in on my girlfriend having sex with another guy. She wasn't even sorry. They looked at me and continued. This was two hours after I told her that I loved her and she said she loved me back. I've hated cheaters ever since," his eyes water, while telling the story.

"I'm so sorry, Luke," Zoe rubs his back.

"Yeah. Me too," I say.

"It's fine. I finally got over her and I'm kind of seeing this amazing girl."

"Who is she?" I ask.

"Her name is Arzaylea," he smiles, at the thought of her.

"Is she hot?" I ask him.

Zoe reaches over and slaps me.

I put my hands up in defense.

"She's extremely hot."

Zoe rolls her eyes, gives Luke a hug and walks out.

"You've got yourself a good girl there. You better take your chance soon," Luke pats my back.

I leave with his words swirling in my mind.

I can't let her slip away again.

I join Zoe on the couch and Michael comes screaming, "TELL ME WHY IM THE ONLY GUY IN THIS HOUSE WITHOUT A GIRLFRIEND?"

"I don't have one, if it makes you feel better," I tell him.

"Okay. Yeah sure. Let's just pretend that you and Zoe aren't together," he rolls his eyes.

Zoe chuckles, "Maybe you don't have one because you don't bother going outside to look for one."

"Ew. I hate outside and socializing," he sticks his tongue out, in disgust, and walks away.

"Zoe?" I ask, getting her attention, "If we waited a little, and got Ashton's permission, you would date me, right?"

"Hell yeah," she smiles, "Your kissing skills are pretty good."

I laugh and allow her to cuddle up with me.

Now, all I need is to get Ashton's approval and I can have the girl I've always wanted.
