Calum's pov
I, instantly, smile when I wake up next to Zoe. She lays there, eyes closed, and little snores escaping her mouth.
I get off the mattress, careful not to wake sleeping beauty.
I freshen up in the bathroom, and leave the house to go get some donuts. I was craving some donuts, and I wanted to apologize to all the other guys in the apartment, and I knew that donuts would get them.
I enter the donut shop and get two dozen donuts because everyone in the apartment eat like monsters. After paying, I head home. Everyone was awake and conversing, but stop when I walk in.
They didn't look very pleased with me, but they were interested in the two, big, pink, boxes in my hand.
Zoe is the only one who approaches me, and helps me by grabbing one of the boxes.
She whispers to all of them, "Be nice."
"I got donuts!"
"We can see," Luke scoffs.
Michael stays silent, and grabs two donuts. Ashton follows, but Luke doesn't give in. I grab a donut and hand it to Luke. He refuses.
"Cmon. I'm sorry. Please take this as my apology," I beg him.
"You're gonna have to do better than a donut," he rolls his eyes.
"Please, Luke. I'm really sorry," I say, emphasizing the word again.
"No. You can't kiss my- now ex- girlfriend, and say sorry, expecting me to forgive you and make you friendship bracelets. I don't know how Zoe forgave you," he storms off.
Zoe follows him, apologizing to me for Luke's actions. I didn't want her apology. He was right.
"You really messed up with him," Ashton chuckles.
I opened my mouth to retaliate, but I had just gotten him to forgive me. I can't risk that again.
I leave the kitchen and head to Luke's room. I hear Zoe and Luke whispering, but I still enter, causing them to stop.
Zoe takes my entrance as a sign to leave, leaving Luke and I in the room alone.
Luke sits there, looking as angry as ever. I didn't know how to start the conversation, but I didn't have to. Before anything could be said, Luke bursts into tears. The kind of tears he would only reveal to his best friend.
"I don't get it. Everyone cheats on me. Am I not worthy enough for someone to love me and me only?" He continues to sob.
"Luke," I say in a calm voice, "These girls don't know how to appreciate you. You're one of the good guys. All you have to do is find one of the good girls."
"You never know, one of the good girls might cheat on me too," he scoffs.
"You have to be patient. You'll find your girl soon," I pat his back.
"Thanks," he wipes his tears.
"Do you forgive me now?" I ask.
"Yeah. I should've forgiven you a long time ago. You helped me see who the real Arzaylea was," he lightly smiles.
I give him a hug. One of those manly hugs, of course.
