Dauntless born (a FourTris story)

part 10

We have just started training and we already know that I have four fears because we went into the fear landscape room first thing. I'm afraid of heights, tight spaces, killing the innocent, and getting kicked out of Dauntless going to my father and have him turn me away.

I haven't seen Tris since the choosing ceremony which was 3 days ago. I am dying to see her I need to figure out what we have before we lose it. I need to find her.

I start devising a plan to meet up with her. Here's how it goes:

Step 1- leave a series of notes for her to follow

Step 2- devise a romantic gesture at the final destination

Step 3- leave a clue that it is me but not too obvious

Step 4- see if she is determined enough to figure it out

Step 5- if she is leave another note leading her to another place

Step 6- have different romantic gesture there

Step 7- leave a note showing her how to get to my secret chasm spot where I will be waiting

Step 8- act like I know nothing about the entire plan (act casual)

I look over my plan one more time and silently approve. I will start it tomorrow. I go to sleep and dream about her reaction when she sees it.

I wake up the next morning and realize that there is no training today because of a leadership meeting that Amar had to go to. So I run and get rose petals, plenty of paper, colors and pencils, a stuffed bear holding a heart that says Dauntless, and a Dauntless necklace that spells out Dauntless with T+T=💞 engraved on the back.

I get to work on my notes and once they are finished I set every thing up and I go to the control room and watch her every move from there.
