James POV
James: "Did you enjoy christmas? Even your family wasn't with you?"
Sam: "Yeah, I did. You are my family now. I enjoyed it!"
James: "Glad to hear"
Sam: "James? Can I ask you something?"
James: "Anything"
Sam: "I heard your conversation with Halston and Alexa in the kitchen tonight."
James: "Oh okay?!"
Sam: "What are you mean? What are you up to?"
Okay, now it was tough to explan. I hope she won't freak out! I put my hands around her waist, looked in her eyes.
James: "Okay Sam listen. I am still worried about what happened in the chancellery. Christmas break is almost over. I wanted to plan a new carrier for you. Just that you have the choice. Honestly, I don't want you to work there anymore."
Sam: "What did you say?"
James: "Well, Halston and Alexa talked to some producers. Some of them were up to try it. Of course you'll get acting classes and stuff."
Sam: "What? I never wanted to be an actress."
James: "I know. But maybe, if you'd think about it. Maybe you will like it."
Sam: "You planned a new carrier for me and you never talked to me about it?" she put my hands away from her waist. Yep, she was pretty angry right now.
James: "You never wanted to talk about it. Maybe you don't want to work there anymore. I just wanted to give you an opportunity."
Sam: "I told you, that it is MY decision. And you just planned anything? I always wanted to be a lawyer. Nothing else."
James: "I know, but..."
Sam: "You know nothing. You always do the things you want to have or to do. You don't even ask me. I'm so sick of it James."
James: "Hey, calm down, I just wanted to..."
Sam: "Yeah yeah yeah, an opportunity, I know. OMG, James, I can't believe you doesn't accept that it's my decision. You don't even trust me, that I could handle the situation by myself."
James: "I saw how you're able to handle it. Really impressive"
Sam: "Okay, it's enough." she went inside.
James: "Where are you going?"
Sam: "Outta here. I gonna go home."
James: " *groan* Babe, wait, let's talk about it. It's christmas."
Sam: "oh oh oh, don't call me babe right now, my friend. And yep, MERRY CHRISTMAS"
And she was gone. Perfect James, just perfect. I tried to call her, but she didn't answer. I decided to call her tomorrow, and let her calm down.
Sam's POV
Ugh, James just planned my whole life. I don't wanna live the same life as James. I wanted to be a lawyer. I did my bachelor in law and now doing my master. This was the reason, why I moved to Los Angeles. I worked too hard for my dream to let it go, right now. Because of one scary situation. Okay, he was worried, but he just planned anything. Grrr... I went into my apartment and sat down on my couch. I decided to call my family.
After hours of talking we hung up. I didn't tell anything about the situation. Well okay I did. But just my mom. She said, that it wasn't James idea of planning my whole life right now. She said, that he might think, that I just do this job, because I don't have something else. I thought about ot. Oh, and my dad wanted to meet James. But he didn't knew that we flight this night.
I went to bed and fall asleep.
~NEXT MORNING~
I woke up at 2pm, because I heard someone was in my apartment. I went downstairs, carefully. I looked around and on the table was a huge bouquet of red roses and a note.
'Remember the place of our first date? Please meet me there at 6pm. I love you, James'
Oh yeah, right. James had the keys of my apartment. I smiled, it was sweet. Okay, I'll go there. I think we needed to talk.
I dressed in a jeans, pullover, high UGG's and a jacket. Anything was in a nude color. [See media] and I drove to the secret beach spot. It was 5:30pm. I walked half an hour, because I walked slowly. I was nervous. I don't know why. I carefully went down the cliffs and say James standing there. Near the ocean. [See Media for James Outfit]. I smiled.
He turned around with a insecure smile. I walked towards me and I did the same.
James: "I'm glad you came"
Sam: "Yeah, me too. I think I...."
James: "Before you say anything, I wanna show you something"
He used his finger to show me a romantic dinner / picknick in the sand. I smiled, it was soo cute. We sat down in a blanket.
James prepared sandwiches, fruites, vegetables, cheese snacks, We started to eat.
James: "Look, I'm sorry. I never meant to control your life and stuff. I just wanted to give you an opportunity."
Sam: "I talked to my mom and she said the same. I think I overreacted."
James: "Well, did you think about it?"
Sam: "James, you know... uhmm... how can I say it... uhmm... You know, I worked so hard to live the dream of a lawyer in the US. I studied so hard and now I'm doing my master. I can think about it. But please, don't be mad at me, when I don't take it. I just have to think about it. It's a hard decision. Please accept, I have to decide, no one else."
James: "I understand. Okay, let me know, but please, just think about it."
Sam: "I promise". James smiled. I gave him a kiss...
The time went by and we talked a lot and enjoyed the romantic dinner at the beach. Such a sweet idea of him. I was laying in his arms after dinner and we watched the stars, heard the sound of the waves.
In the middle of the night we went home. Soon it was new years eve. And I had no idea what would happen next.
