Sam's POV
~Next Morning~
aaaaaaah, my alarm clock... it was 8:30am. I took a shower and get dressed. I took a dark blue jeans shorts, used look, and a white top. I let my hair open and didn't wear any make up. It was warm outside, so it's okay. Underneath I wore a white bikini from Hollister. I took my bag, but a bottle of water, suncream, two towels, my Guess sunclases, my phone and my purse in it.
Suddenly I got a call from James....
James: "Hey Sam, what's up?!"
Sam: "Hey you, nothing, just waiting for you!"
James: Yeah, look. I stuck at work. I'll pick you up, but I'm gonna be late!"
Sam: "Oh okay. do u know what time, yet?"
James: "uhmm, no not really, but I'll hurry up!"
Sam: "Okay, see you later"
James: "yeah, see u!"
We hung up... grrr I hate it. I wondered where he works. He didn't tell me yet. Well, I didn't ask him, yet. I wanted to watch TV as my phone went off... Uff it was Lucas. I didn't know, if it was a good idea to talk to him. I mean he was really sad and hurt because of the break up. Well, I picked up my phone, I wanted t know what he wanted to say.
Sam: "Hello?"
Lucas: "Hey Sam, it's me, Lucas"
Sam: "Hey Lucas! What's up? I'm sorry, but I'm in hurry!"
Was it mean to talk to him like this? I thought it would be easier for him, if I wouldn't be that nice or too friendly. But now I sound like he would annoy me.
Lucas: "uhmm nothing. I just wanted to ask you, how u r doin', how your flight was and how you Los Angeles?!"
Sam: "Oh, I'm doing great. The flight was long, but I slept the most time haha. And I really love LA. It's awesome."
Lucas: "Sounds good." he sounded happy for me "Did you meet any people yet?"
Sam: "uhmm, well, uhmm, no, not really. I just landed yesterday"
Uff, I didn't say something about James. Because he would be really hurt. Even if there isn't anything like love or something. But I know that he still loves me. I thought I would miss him pretty much, but I don't. I feel bad.
Lucas: "Well you'll meet new people soon, at least when you start your Master!"
Sam: "Yeah, I think so. Lucas, I'm sorry, I need to go now. Let's talk soon, okay?"
Lucas: "Yeah, no problem. Seeya and have a nice day!"
Sam: "Thank you, you too"!
We hung up. I thought about him, us, and that I don't miss him. I think more about James than about Lucas. The guy who was my boyfriend for about 3 years. And why do I think so much about James? Maybe because of the fact, that he was he first guy I met in my new life and everything was so exciting. It was 11:15am and no James at all. I really hate it to wait. Especially when I have no idea how long I have to wait.
*knock knock*
Uff, who is it? I went to the door and opened it. I couldn't see anything. All I saw was a bouquet.
"uhmm, hello. Can I help you?" I asked. The person put the flowers down and I saw James with a 'I'm so sorry' face/smile. When I saw it was James and saw his face I had to laugh. It was sweet. "I'm sooo sorry Sam!!! I had to work longer than I expect." he said. "haha, it's okay. You wanna come in?" I asked him. "Oh, no, let's go. We have a lot to do today" he smiled and winked at me. I laughed. "Okay, let me grab my stuff and we can go". I grabed my bag and we left my hotel. We went to his car and he opened the door for me. He also entered the car and started the engine. "Where do we go?" I asked. "Well, you will see, but I guess you already know" he answered with an excited smile on his face. "Hmm, let me guess. Beach?" "1000 points. But it's a special place." James said. Okaaay, well, how could be a beach a special place? Hmm. I guess I will see.
~1 hour later~
Woow, it was a long ride. I had no idea where we were. No clue at all. Moreover, I didn't see a beach. He stopped the car, turned the engine off. "We're here" he said and left the car. He opened my door and I looked at him with a confused look. "Okay, cool, well, uhmm... I just have one question. Where is the beach?" I asked him still confused. "Oh we have to wake a little walk. But it'll be worth it" he said excited. Well, okay, let's do this I thought to myself, grabed my bag and left the car.
We had to walk about half an hour. Loooooong walk. I just had my bag and James bag. Why James bag? Well, he carried two surfboards. Haha. After we walked over a small hill I saw it and had a 'woow' in my face.
