Her plans of sleeping all day materialized dahil walng naggising sa kanya. Lunch time na siya tumayo and nag-open ng phone. 3 text message lang ang inbox niya

Mommy: shobe nid mo go store bantay. May miting ako be hir 4 pm.

She replied. K mom, shower lang po.

Next text was carlo’s: wonder if u wanna see a movie with me. 

She replied: I cant. Need to stay sa store, really sorry.

And the most important text was ofocurse from Benedict.

B, don’t miss me too much today ok. Running errands and basketball practice. Will try to see you. I.

‘I?” ano naman kaya yun I? ano kaya ang ibig sabihin ng I sa jejemon context ni Benedict Ilustre. She ignored the text. Wala naman siyang alam isagot, minsan she should be ignoring Benedict din naman. Para napapansin siya. She took a quick shower then went to the store para magbantay. Ayaw kaya niya mapagalitan sa mommy that’s why she made sure she’ll make it on time sa store. 

Pagdating sa store may 3 white roses na naghihintay sa office ng mama niya. Para sakanya daw yun may nagpadeliver. *** naman note. Sabe lang dawn g delivery para kay Chandria Tan. Still wondering who it came from, naisip nyang tignan ang cellphone baka naman nagtext kung sino naman nagpadala. When she thought she had the answer it made her more confused cause in her inbox were 2 messages. One was from Carlo: Tc nalang hope nxt time we can c a movie together. So Carlo did not ask about flowers. Maybe hindi galling kay carlo ang 3 white rose.The second text was from Benedict. Uwi ka ng choknot frm ur store ha. Crave ko. Still no clue from Benedict. Whoever gave her the rose? Ah this is not funny she told herself. She has the tendency to be impatient, and never enjoyed surprises. She needs to find out who is it from so she called the flower shop where it said it was ordered. Great, the flower shop would not just divulge any information daw. Inaway na nga niya yung kausap sa phone saying there were death threats sa rose. Ayaw pa din sabihin ng kausap niya sino ang umorder ng bulaklak. 

Tingin san g tingin sa oras, sometimes she wonder kung sa pagtingin ba niya sa oras eh masasbi nito whoever gave her the flowers. She spent her time texting Aria and downloading songs for her i-pod, natapos narin kase niya lahat ng pinapagaw ng mommy niya sa store, nakapg dinner na din naman siya hinihintay nalang nya ang closing time so she can give the sales report sa mommy niya first thing in the morning.She decided to text ben. Tinanong lang naman nia kung nakauwi na ito from basketball practice. Hindi pa kase nagpaparamdam since morning.

Kelan pa naging jejemon si Benedict at nag effort mag-capital ng mga letters. Si benedict nga kaya ang katext niya? She replied. “thot ur home. Will bring ur choknat nalang tom. Ingat ka.” 

Hindi naman na nagreply si Ben sa kanya. Bigla naman siya kinabahn. Kung hindi pa umuuwi sib en and nasa kabilang village pa, ergo si Ben ay nakay Julia. Oh no. Its not happening… she felt panicky. Its not fair. Siya nakakulong sa store nila, inip, frustrated, itong si Bendict nagpapakasaya sa piling ni Julia? Feeling niya siya na ang pinakasawing tao sa mundo. Wrong timing naman magpabantay ang mommy niya ng store. She felt nauseous.Makulit na kung makulit nagtext ulit siya kay ben. “Bents lunch tom at ur house pwede request k auntie milet?” bahala na she told herself. Gusto lang naman niya replyan siya nito. Bat ba kase ang tagal magreply. Finally her phone beeped and her heart sank. It was their driver telling her labas na daw siya ng store uwi na sila. Gosh tension like that is killing her. Without knowing ilang minutes na lumipas after her last text nagtext ulit siya. “Bents pauwi ka na ba? Nagdinner ka na? buy ako andoks manok”. Paborito kase nilang snack ni Benedict yun. Sana sa ngalang ng lechon manok magreply si Benedict.Without any reply she still decided to buy lechon manok. Ippakain nalang niya sa mga maid. Busog naman na siya. Hindi talaga siya nireplyan ni benedict. Nakauwi, nagshower na siya wala padin. She was about to call him nang magbeep phone niya.
