Chandria finally found the courage to tell Diego that she can’t make it to the Ball with him. She wasn’t courageous enough thogh to tell him that it’s because Benedict matters more, so nangako nlang siya na mag-di-dinner sila sa tagaytay that night. Cha took Ben’s words na okay lang siyang gawin kahit ano to make up toCarlo, Super nakakahiya naman kase ang ginawa niyang pag-back-out.

Benedict was out biking with his highschool classmates. Intentionally hindi niya sinama si Chandria. Lalake kaya lahat ng kasama niya, ano siya bale para ipakita si Cha. Eh kung may magkagusto pa doon. No way. Nareceive naman din niya ang text na aalis daw ito ng 3 PM, hindi alam ano oras babalik. He knew na si Carlo ang kasama nito. Gusto na naman niya manapak, gusto rin niyang sumunod, hindi naman sinabi Chandria. Aaw naman niya magtanong, he didn’t want to appear as a jealous boyfriend, dahil hindi naman siya boyfriend, well atleast hindi pa…he chuckled, sana ganon kalakas ang loob niya when he proposed.And then he realized wala pa pala siyang naisip na paraan para makapagpropose na. He texted Chandria.”ano suot mo”

Chandria wondered ano naman kayang klaseng tanong yun. She replied “Huh”

Benedict replied. “Date”

Chandria cant help but smile. “Date ka jan. la, jeans lang”

“k dts gud. Have fun!”

Chandria wondered, si benedcit bayung nagtanong nay un? Saka ano kaya yung have fun? Para namang nagseselos na boyfriend ang emote. Di kaya nagseselos nga? Oh well lately mahirap intindihin ang mood ni Benedict. Saka na, haharapin na muna niya si Carlo.Nag-reply nalang siya “tnx. Tc”

Without Benedict’s influence, sinabi niya kay Carlo na sa van nalang nila ito sumakay with their driver. She wouldn’t ride the car alone with him. Its not just that comfortable for her. Around 5 pm nkarating sila sa Tagaytay golf and country club. She realized member pala ang daddy ni Carlo doon kaya parang VIP treatment ang na-re-receive nila.

It was awkward. This is how Chandria will describe being with carlo na silang dalawa lang. No matter what carlo do make it a good experience for her hindi pa rin siya at ease.

Crl: I was wondering if pwede ako manligaw?

Chandria was just in shock. Ganon ba ka-straight forward magtanong si Carlo? Ganon di n ba ka-straight forward na sagot ang gusto nito?

C; sorry carlo, hindi kase ako emotionally available ngayon.I cant explore but you see..

Crl: it’s Benedict right? Napapansin ko naman eh, ayaw nyo lang aminin sa isa’t-isa.

C: I don’t know what youre saying.

Crl: alam mo kung anong ibig kong sabihin. Alam ko that youre a smart girl, hindi ka naman siguro dense. Alam ko din na kilala mo si benedict definitely alam mo na ma nararamdaman siya for you diba?

Cha shook his head. Akala lang ni carlo naiintindihan nya ang nangyayari. Pero gulong-gulo na siya. She did not realize na her tears are starting to fall. Carlo took his hanky off his pocket and offered it Chandria.

C: salamat. Sorry hindi ko sinasadya umiyak sa harap mo.

Crl: it’s ok. I care for you Cha, and I wanted you to be happy. But I think the tears are senseless, baka akala din nila pinapaiyak ka nila. Malaman pa ni Benedict.

C: hindi naman niya malalaman ito.

Crl: You cant say what Benedict cant and wont do for you. Alam ko na importante ka sa kanya. Maaring hindi niya sinasabi sayo, pero alam ko na mahal ka niya. Maybe he has reasons why he wont tell you, reasons I don’t know but one day he’s gonna tell you.
