I Fell For My Brother !?!

Chapter 28.

Shawn left shortly after that. Soon enough dad came in.

"Sally, how are you feeling dear?"he asked.

"Good." I grunted, rudely to show him that I was still angry at him.

"Okay, I'll send your mother in." He sighed and turned to leave.

"Wait!"

"Do you want something else?"

"Yes, answers."

The CRO attached to me started tinking away.

"To what?" He asked rudely as if to show two can play this game.

"Why did you leave her? "

"Because I realized it was  a mistake. I couldn't love her anymore. I then loved Jess, she was the best thing that ever happened to me."

"But us? Why did you separate me from my twin and my mother?" I asked my eyes swelling up with tears threatening to fall uncontrollably.

"Because I couldn't forget you guys. I was there when you guys were born. The doctor handed me you first. It was the best feeling I had ever felt, knowing that I now had a different kind of responsibility of which I could be proud of. I left before your mother woke, of course. I couldn't ask for joint custody, I was too ashamed of myself for breaking my wedding vows." He finished, his head held low.

"But why did you never tell me who I am? Who my mother was? Who my twin was?" I asked letting my tears wet me.

"Because I never got the time. Plus, you guys were un identical so no one could ever guess."

"What do you mean you never got the time?" I raged." I was always there, you were always there! But you're telling me you never got the time? Thats not the truth! I want the truth!" I demanded.

"I wanted to tell you right after your appendix, when you were 13! Well, I tried! But Jess told me you were too young! I tried again, when you were 15. But then I realized that you would never respect Jess if you knew the truth! I couldn't see you both breaking down at once! Jess loves you and she has always been a great mother to you than you could ever wish for!" My father rumbled angrily and stomped out of the room.

None of it made any sense. But for him, he thought it did.

Knock.... Knock......

I quickly wiped away my tears with my cast free hand." Come in!" I groaned.

Luke came in.
"Hey you alright? Um, sorry, stupid question to ask. How are you feeling?"

"Not my best, but its okay."

"The moment i saw you, I just felt like i knew you and then it turned out that you were my twin. We've been searching for you all those years. It was like a silent understanding between me and mom, to find you. That day, when I saw you, I told mom right away. Then when we did the background check, it turned out that it really was you. I tried to talk to you but then you went all ' avoid him at all costs mode'. The Abby got Shawn and everything changed. They are really happy,only because of you. Even without knowing, you helped our sister get happy. You are so much like Mom. Then you came to meet her, then the accident. All this while I couldn't help but think of you as my baby sister, my lost baby sister whom I will always look after and care for."

I was out of words. It was awkward to know someone you never knew before a few weeks, someone you never talked to before to care for you the way Luke did for me.

"Thank you." I said after a while of thinking. "For everything."

"Okay, I have to go. I'll stop by later." He said touching my shoulder as he left.

I was getting tired again, after all the emotional drama and everything so i decided to fall asleep.

Hey people! I haven't typed in a while. It took me five times of the computer shutting down and to changing devices to finally produce this piece of writing. Inshallah, I'll start writing sooner as my vacation starts this 16th December.
