I see you, the girl in the corner,
The one with the funky hair
The one who always puts her head down because you don't want people to see you.
You are a Misfit

To the boy in the middle row
The one who hides who he is
The one who eats alone to hide from the names he hears.
You are a Misfit

To the popular girl in the first row
You are someone in public eye, but inside yourself,
You are someone completely different.
You wear the glasses and study to keep your grades up for college.
But your friends, they don't care. But you do.
You are a Misfit.

To the people I called out, how do I know? Cause I'm a person who hears the content voices, the names that scream so loud you can't mute them. I'm a person who follows her heart, picking my path, but yet, trying to blend in so the names and voices will stop.

So how do I know,
Because I am a Misfit just like you.
