Chapter 6
Katie POV
I had walked into my cabin. Thank gods everyone was asleep. I looked at Miranda on her top bunk and one of my three brothers Peter laying on the bed below her. I checked his watch to see the time. It was midnight, freaking midnight!
I walked into my room. (Councilors get their own room) I put on my pajamas and got into bed, then falling asleep.
I woke up the next morning with Miranda sitting on the comfy chair I ha in the corner of my room. "What in Hades Randa" I said to my sister. "Don't call me that, only Conner can" she said annoyed. "Okay what do you want" I said walking over to my dresser.
"Well as you know, Conner and I-" she stopped dead in her tracks. "I know what y'all did" I said frowning. "Yah" she said blushing.
"Wait please tell me your not pregnant" I said with a horrified face. "NO way, and thank the gods too" said Miranda. "Thank the gods indeed" I said.
Miranda and I finished out talk. I got dressed in a green t-shirt and jean shorts, when the conch blew signally for breakfast. I then walked out in to the main part of the cabin.
"Okay everyone next to your bunks, you know the drill" I said smiling. All nine of my younger siblings got next to there bunks. I call there names oldest to youngest.

All of them were accounted for. "Okay go eat" I told them. "Come on Vi I said grabbing my six year old sisters hand.
Once we got there she let go of my hand and ran towards the buffet.
"Hey Kit Kat" said Travis. "Hi" I said smiling. "Wanna go to the beach today" he asked smiling. "Trav, you know I'm needed in the fields" I said walking towards to the food.
"I know, but please, it's beautiful today" he said using puppy dog eyes. I tried hard not to fall for those beautiful blue eyes of his, but that wasn't the case. "Fine I'll go, just have to eat and get dressed is all" I said putting good on my plate. "Ok" Travis said kissing my cheek then walking back to his table.
