In her dreams,
she wishes for wings,
and for her life,
she gets to take flight,
and fly away,
fly away.
She reaches the clouds, never wanting to come down.
She gets too close to the sun,
and down she comes.
Attached to a rope,
that's pulling at her throat.
She wants to be free,
only she can't be.
Without a price,
that is her life,
Which is given up for wings.
