Elena's POV:

It's been about an hour since we met Castiel in the abandoned warehouse. And it's been an hour since I have moved from this car. I am just trying to process everything. First Dean comes back from the dead, then an angel comes down from heaven and apparently knows me. And just hearing that brings me back to wanting know what that yellow eyed demon wanted with me, what my mom gave up. I stopped trying when Dean died. I just couldn't deal with it alone. I can't even I believe that I ended up here. But I did, and surprisingly I wouldn't take back anything. Before I can sit any longer alone in my extreme self pity, Dean jumps into the car and just sits next to me.

"What's going on Elena?" I am quite for a little while, and he doesn't mind. He just sits there and waits for me to be ready.

"He knew me. It seemed like he new something I didn't."

"He is an angel Lena."

"I know Dean. But this just brings me back to yellow eyes. I never found out what happened with my mom. What if what he is talking about is about me."

"You're just overthinking things Elena. If you think about it, angels should know everything, including what happened when you weren't even around."

"I guess you're right. I just can't get it out of my head." I look over at Dean, with a defeated look on my face. He just looks at me straight in the eyes with that devious smirk his is so good at.

"I mean we could put something else on your mind." I laugh involuntarily, knowing that is what he wanted.

"You're so perverted Dean Winchester."

"Yet, I know you love it Elena Gilbert." I just look at him and realize how much I missed him.

"Ya I do. I love you Dean." I lean my head on his shoulders and we just sit there.

"And I love you Lena."

Dean's POV:

I finally got Elena out of the car and we are back at the hotel. I see the light on so I am guessing Sam is back. We walk up the stairs and to the door and get ready to unlock the door when Elena's phone rings. She gets it out of her pocket and I see that it was Damon calling her. She groans and hangs up the phone.

"Is everything ok?" She looks at me and just nods.

"Ya everything is cool. Damon is probably just whining that he doesn't have enough whiskey." I look at her, not totally convinced but let it go. We walk into the room to see Sammy sitting on his bed reading a book.

"Hey Sammy!" He looks up from what he is reading and just smiles, until he sees Elena. It almost looks like he is guilty about something. I look over at Elena and she has a similar look on her face.

"What's going on here?" They both look at me but it's Elena who answers.

"Nothing."

"Bullshit. I see the look on both of your guys' faces. What happened between you two?" Elena looks mortified before she answers me.

"No Dean it was definitely nothing like that."

"Then what?" I look at Sam and realize he was being weirdly quiet.

"When you died Dean, we were both crushed. I lost my only brother. The only family I had left. I was miserable and angry all in one. When we buried you, I sort of blew up at Elena. I accused her that you dying was her fault and that if she never came around, you would still be here. I was why she went back to Mystic Falls. I didn't want her to stay anywhere near me." I am just shocked by what he tells me because that really didn't sound like Sam. I look towards Elena to see if it was true but just the look on her face tells me that it was true.
