I should have stayed home. For both things. For everything that happened last night and for now sitting on this annoying bus going to a meet that I really have no energy for. However, since I am captain I have no choice, but to embark on this journey, which is why I am now sitting in between a recovering Scott and a Stiles who is trying to help us study for PSATs.

As I'm sitting there going in and out of consciousness I can barely hear the conversation going on between Isaac and Boyd in the front. Groaning I move my hand to bring my hair behind my ear and focus on the two a couple rows down from us.

"Stop thinking about it man."

"Like, you're not thinking about it too?"

"Yeah, well, we'll both stop thinking about it."

'I can't"

"Well there's nothing you can do about it either."

"You sure about that?"

Boyd challenges as he glances over to Ethan who is sitting next to Danny. No Boyd don't do anything stupid especially in front of all of these people. We are all stuck on this bus for who knows how long. As I glance from Boy to Ethan, Ethan and I make eye contact making me slightly growl at him bringing back many flashbacks from last night. I can feel my breath tightening again, but before I can go in completely mode I feel Stiles lips on my temple before he calls Scotts name.

"Anachronism."

"Something that exists out of it's normal time."

"Nice. Okay next word--Incongruous."

"Can you use it in a sentence?"

"I can, It's completely incongruous that we are sitting on a bus right now on our way to some stupid cross-country meet after what just happened."

"Incongruous."

"Out of place, Ridiculous, absurd."

"Perfect. Okay, next word. Um, Darach."

Stiles goes on trying to get us to talk about the Darach knowing that we have to talk about it sometime, however, Scott doesn't even entertain the idea of talking about it and instead closes his eyes leaning his head against the window.

Of course this makes Stiles move on, but it makes me quite concerned for him. I know he hasn't healed since what happened last night and I know he keeps telling me it's because it's from an alpha, but I'm not buying it. I mean Kali got a hold of me and although it did take longer to heal I'm healed now, yet Scott isn't.

The bus rattles making both Scott and I groan at the sudden movement. Stiles asks Scott if he is okay which just earns him a sigh which makes Stiles turn his attention to me asking what's wrong with me.

"Didn't get much sleep last night after everything that happened and I'm just not feeling all too great, but I'll be fine."

"We shouldn't have come, I knew it. We shouldn't have come."

"We had too. There's safety in numbers."

"Plus I'm team captain I had no choice."

"Yea, well there is also death in numbers. It's called a massacre, or bloodbath, carnage, slaughter, butchery, wow that's"

"Babe enough."

I tell him, while Scott groans making me turn my attention to him and Stiles going off on how he is going to tell coach, but Scott fights him on it telling him that he is alright.
