Chapter 13: It's happening to all of us

Classes drag on before we finally are free at lunch. As I make my way out of my class I notice the twins at Ethan's locker talking making me take out my phone and text Stiles that I might be a little late to lunch and for them not to wait up for me. I make my way over to the twins clearing my throat to get their attention. They both turn to look at me while raising their eyebrow.

"I just wanted to apologize for what I did."

"You mean taking away our alpha status and almost killing us?"

"Yeah that. I wasn't in control of my own body. I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it, but try anything like that again and you'll wish you didn't."

Aiden threatens making Ethan hit his arm and something in me snap. I growl at him grabbing his neck and shove him into the lockers behind him.

"Threaten me again and this time I'll make sure you don't survive."

I threaten letting Aiden go before shaking my head and looking at me hands. Backing up I murmur another apology and turn towards where my friends were sitting. I watch as they are all there talking about something that happened in Isaacs class before taking a deep breath and making my way over there. Sitting in between Scott and Stiles I tell everyone that I'm sorry I'm late to which they all nod and continue back on their conversation.

Scott on the other hand looks at me and asks if I'm okay. Looking at him confused I just nod my head and tell him that everything was fine.

"Okay then put your claws away."

He tells me before turning towards Allison and talking to her about something. Looking down I realize that my claws must still be out from Aiden closing my eyes I bring my claws back and look on my thigh where Stiles's hand rests. Bringing my gaze from his hand to his eyes I give him a smile and tell him how I just apologized to the twins and Aiden was his usual dick self. He nods his head before turning towards Lydia asking her a question. I just sit there staring into the distance wondering what in the hell made me snap like that back there.

Looks like tonight is going to be another researched filled night.

School drags on like usual and I find myself in my last period begging the clock to go faster and by begging I mean staring at it until it moves. Only a minute has passed and I swear I'm going to go crazy if I don't get out of here. Rolling my eyes at the fact the clock won't move I bring my gaze back to my notebook where there is barely any notes written there, but a lot of hearts and Stiles name. Smiling I bring my gaze up to the boy whose all over my notes to see him focusing on whatever the teacher is saying.

His gaze turns towards me as if he could feel me staring making him smile at me and then point to the teacher mouthing for me to pay attention. Rolling my eyes I mouth to him to make me making him slightly chuckle and turn his attention back to the teacher in the front. Letting out a sigh I see Scott who looks as if he is about to pass out and I can't help but let out a small chuckle which I luckily cover up with a cough, so no one really looks over to me.

My gaze goes all around the classroom until it lands on the open classroom door. My eyebrow raises in confusion as I see both my parents standing there looking at me. I look towards both Scott and Stiles who are still paying attention to the teacher to back towards the door where my parents are no longer standing. Shaking my head I definitely need to get out of this classroom it's been a long day and I'm seeing dead people this is not good.

Looking back towards the clock I see that we have ten minutes left and then we are free. Only ten more minutes I can survive ten more minutes. Taking a deep breath I try and focus my attention on the teacher, when my eyes drift back to the door. Once again my dead parents are standing there looking at me with smiles on their faces.
