Marinette pov :

Oh god my whole body is throbbing with pain I feel like I haven't eaten a thing for a week and my throat is all dry,I wonder what happened

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself in Adrian's room...I looked around to see it was 18:00pm and Adrian hand is holding mine,his way of holding my hand is very gentle it's like he's afraid if he'll break it because you know he is a vampire their strength is twice as humans

I gently squeezed his hand,he instantly opened his eyes making it turn from green to grey

Huh why is he sad ? I wonder but i'm still confused why I am here ?

"Adrian,what happened to me ?"I asked looking at him

He lowered his head and said "i'm sorry Marie on Wednesday I didn't um drink blood so I lost control over myself and I accidentally bite you,you lost a lot of blood so I had to carry you here then mom examined you after that you got high fever i'm so sorry please forgive me it's all because of me that this happened to you"he said turning her gaze to the window

So that's what happened,now it makes sense why all this pain more importantly it makes me sad seeing him like this even if he did suck my blood it's ok it wasn't his self,besides I remember that he tried to fight back

I held his chin up so that I can see his face clearly "it's alright Adrian,I know that you tried your best to fight your desire to not suck blood but it was just so strong"I said a smile on my face

"You really mean it"he said,I could feel his face lightening and his eyes turning blue

"Oh and since your clothes were dirty mum had to change them for you"

What ? I took a glance over my clothes,last time I checked I wasn't wearing these,this is embarrassing,I tried to brush it off by saying "oh..ok"

But he was too good at this"you're embarrassed,aren't you ?"

"What ? No i'm"I said looking away

"I know you too well,you look away whenever you feel uncomfortable"

"You did figure me out,huh ?"

"Yep"he said looking happy of his doing...

"Come here"

I have him a hug and he hugged back,it feels good to be back to normal,his mom come to the room she asked how I was doing I feel shy, she checked my temperature I still had fever but I need to get back home my mom is worried

"no no no marinette you are still sick so stay here for 2 more days and I already told your mom she came here to visit early this morning but you were asleep so she'll visit you tomorrow"she said and then went downstairs

"By the way,how much days was i out ?"I asked "um...about 3 days but don't worry everything is alright"he said placing a wet towel on my forehead "now rest in bed and i'll be here next to you "he added

i glance at his hand to find him wearing a ring"what's that?"i ask with curiosity taking over me

"oh this"he lifted his hand"it's a ring father gave me,he said it was carried through generations so he decided to give it to me"

"it's beautiful,did he tell you something else about this ?"

"no,why ?"

"it's just odd that he gave to you now like why all of sudden,he could have gave it to you earlier"

"what do you mean 'earlier' ?"

"age"

"i don't know why mari"
