chapter 19

I flinch to the movement of marinette's hand tightening her grip,she looks at me still half asleep and a bit out of breath,she smiles and i smile back

"hey,how are you feeling ?"I say as i look at her

she inhales deeply before removing the oxygen mask "I'm ok..i guess"

I put the oxygen mask back on because she seemed to have the argue  to still use it and talke to me at the same time which is difficult for her

"it's ok,you need it"she nods still her eyelids not fully open...yet

"so,since this your first time here,I'm going to show you around for a bit then..i'll take you to this special place,I personally adore"i look at her softly

she nods,she looks around as if wondering what room is she in right now,I understand what she's trying to say

"it's the guests room,this is the house where I lived a bit of my life here,and yes we moved you here since mom has prepared this room for you to feel more comfortable than in my grandparents house"

She started to open her eyes just like usual

before leaving mom injected Marie with some kind of liquid that can help her breathe normal just for a couple of hours

seems like I won't be needing to carry those inhalers

"be safe"dad said putting his arm around mom's shoulder

I nod as i turn around to hold Marie's hand and leave the house,it was a lovely day

"so,as you can see here,there is park and besides it you find a grocery stores where you can find anything you need in your daily life"

"I know what a grocery store is for"she said sarcastically

I laugh

"so before going to the special place,let's go to this theme park just a block away from here"

"okay"

After trying some games,we thought it'll be best if we take a break and rest before leaving

we sat in a table and ordered a bottle of water and I didn't take anything

I don't want to disgust her and for the water I told the waiter that she wanted it because her body needed it

because us vampires don't really drink water as much as humans do

"well if it wasn't adrien ?"a voice behind me said,it seemed kind of familiar

As I turn around,I see my old friend Raven

"hey,how have you been ? long time no see"

"you know the usual,same to you"

"am I supposed to know what the usual is !"he says sarcastically"and you know I had some issues at home,so..."

"it's ok"

Marie clears her throat

"Marienette this is raven an old friend of mine,raven this is my girlfriend"

"nice to meet you,raven"

"my pleasure"

"have a seat"I said

"is it ok with you guys ?"

"yeah yeah take a seat"she said,she'd so nice

"thanks"he says before looking at the bottle of water"so..um you were drinking water ?"

"ohh it's for marinette,she's been a bit thirsty these days"

"oh really"

I nod,she seemed confused so I just signed to her'just go along with it'

after he left,she said"what was that about ?"

"he must not know that you are a human"

"why ?"

"because there is a law that says if any vampire smells a human,that vampire has the right to kill that human"

"that's aggressive,I neve knew there was this kind of law here"

"isn't that the same in your city ?"

"I guess"

"either ways,everything is going to be ok,so don't worry"

She nods

we arrived to the special place it was a secret beach,just a few vampires knew about it

of course I put a bandana on her eyes so she can't see it

"we're here"I say as i take the cover off

her eyes widened"this is so beautiful,the reflection is just amazing"

I smile as we sit on the sand,it was sunset by now wich made it more relaxing to see the calming beach

"How did you know this place ?"

"to be honest,before going to your city,my parents brought me here and said I should bring someone special"I said taking her hand in mine

"aww"she smiles
