Adrien's POV:
"And that how it was"I said looking at mum.she looked at me for a while thinking
"Well...when she wakes up,you better explain what happened,ok?"
"Ok.mum"I said and started to head up towards my room.I find her still laying in the same position...
I noticed some sweat over her forehead,when I wiped the sweat I felt her high temperature..oh..no she's has a fever,not good..not good
"Mum.come here quick marinette got a fever"I said not yelling she could hear me because our hearing is excellent that we can even hear a whisper
"Could you go outside for a second,um i have to change her clothes,they're covered with blood and sweat,I brought some of her clothes with me while you were here"she said holding a pair of clothes in her hand
I left the room once more as i was about to walk out of the house,i felt someone's presence behind me
"dad,need something ?"
"actually,i came here to give you this"
i turn around to see a ring that has the symbol of our families name craved on the surface
"this ring has been carried through generations in our bloodline history and now i want you to have it"
"but dad it's--"
"I'm handing it you so take care of it,son"
i nod and exit the house and go to the park and started thinking if marinette would be okay
honestly i'm still worried i mean we've been childhood friends for so long and now we are kind of...um..you know what I mean right like we're going out
so I know everything about her.I feel what she feels.she have my heart and I have hers,we complete each other with our existence even through we are two different creatures and I will never let anybody hurt her
I saw the swing that i used to use with marinette.it was such happy times
Flash back
we were playing as usual when some boys come towards marinette and pushed her over the swing,she started to cry so i got extremely furious that I punched the boy hard enough that I broke his teeth "if you lay even a finger on her one more time I'll make sure to break your bones,boy"i said and they ran fast to their parents
I turned around and helped her stand up,I wiped her tears and said"don't cry marinette I'll protect you.ok?"she said "ok"and then hugged me tightly
Ever since that day I promised myself that I will always protect her no matter what

I smiled at the thought of that and headed back home
