Sam POV:
I woke up to sun shining brightly into my eye. Blinding me. The curtains were closed, but the fabric wasn't that thick. I slowly get up, where am I again? Right, 'The Little Box'. Interesting name for a motel. I wonder why they named it that. Does it mean anything? Probably not. I shuffle my way to my suitcase. I could have just left the room, as I don't have to change from yesterday's clothes. But I smell and I don't want anyone to have to live with this stench. I grab a green t-shirt, black skinny jeans and a black oversized hoodie. I drag myself into the bathroom. Remove my eye patch, and turn the water for the shower on. Luckily they have warm water here. I quickly hop in after it's the right temperature and start to wash myself. You know, the usual. Wash my hair, clean my body. I won't bore you with the details. I quickly dry myself off and put on my clothes. Struggling with the skinny jeans. I put on another patch and steadily make my way outside, with my suitcase dragging behind me. I might come back here again, it's a really nice place. I'm almost out the door when I hear a male voice.
"I hope you had a good stay."
"Thanks. It was great Tim"
After those words I leave. Off to find my older brother. I really wonder what's going through his head right now. I put my suitcase in the car, but I don't hop in. I have a feeling that today I should walk, because if I don't I will miss something. So off I go making my way through the streets of Ireland.
Tim POV:
Who's that girl? She seems interesting, and she is the only one that ever really said my name. Everyone else just ignores me. I know it's been a year, but I still can't get over it. My older brother, Mark. Died right in front of my eyes. I could have saved him. I could have done something, but I didn't. Fear had forced me to stand still. Trembling. Why am I such a coward? I could have helped, or even sacrificed my life for him. Everyone loved Mark. I was just that little brother that followed him around. Sometimes aimlessly, but he didn't care. I was his little biscuit. His little brother. His best friend. Mark was also a hero, putting everyone before him. Even though he had that demon crawling inside. Dark. I hate him. It was his fault that we had to move to Ireland. We were banned from L.A. just because Dark managed to go on a killing spree. So many people wanted us dead. So many people wanted us to disappear into jail forever, but luckily the goverment was kind enough to understand the situation.
"TIM!"
This jerks me out of my thoughts. Who could be calling me?
"What?"
"Stop dreaming about that girl and go to the store. I need you buy more food. We're running out."
"Okay Thomas. I'm going already."
"Oh and Tim. Hit that for me."
I groan in annoyance. Sure. I love my older brother very much, but sometimes he can just be a pain. Always trying to hook me up with someone. Saying that if I get a girlfriend it will help me. Forget it. I quickly walk my way out of our motel. Mark used to work here too.
"GET OFF OF ME YOU PERVERT."
What? That sounds like that girl from earlier. What is her name? I probably forgot to ask.
"HELP"
"Shut up you little brat."
After that, all I hear are muffled screams and the sound of someone laughing creepily.
"You're gonna be so much fun to play with."
That sets me off. That's just disgusting. I start to run to the direction of the sound. I turn a corner and there I see it. These three guys are surrounding the girl with the eye patch. Two are holding her down. The third is slowly running his tongue down her neck.
"Hey. Leave her alone."
Who said that? Wait, did I just say that? I look around and notice nobody else. I look back and see all the eyes on me. The guys eyes are filled with anger and annoyance, but her eye is filled with relief. I just noticed. Her eye is so beautiful. Blue, like the sky on a sunny day. Focus Tim. You're trying to save someone here, not drool over how pretty they are. I'm about to step forward, but something jumps down from the roof above.
"Drop her. NOW."
His voice is filled with anger. It seems darker than a normal voice. Almost demonic. The figure looks up at me and gives me a confused look.
"Who are you? Sam's boyfriend?"
A blush slowly creeps up my cheeks, and when I look at Sam. I see that a blush is slowly appearing as well.
"ANTI"
"Oh. So I don't have to be here."
"Well, I would like to see Jack."
"Whatever. I'm going before-"
He couldn't finish his sentence as all of a sudden this white light tackles him down to the ground.
"Anti. We're going home."
"Fuck. I thought I lost you."
That voice it sounded so familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it. Soon the dust clears and I see this man. He turns to look at me but when we make eye contact everything blurs. Not the world, but everything about him. His facial features, his hair, his body, everything.
"Tim?"
Hey Cupcakes, just want to tell you guys that the next chapter might take a while because I have to do something called Challenge Week. Basically you have to do a set of activists the whole week and challenge yourself, so I probably won't have enough time to write anything. Just a little heads up.
See you next time
