Sam POV (you didn't expect this did you):
I harshly slammed Jack's front door, his car is still here so I know that he is home. He never leaves without his car. That's how lazy he is. He can't even go on a walk or even a trip back to LA. He knows mom's health has been down lately. I've been sending him texts, emails, leaving voice mails and even letters. I wait for about an hour and still no Jack. Wow. He actually left without his car for once. I'm about to walk out off of his porch when I notice something white in the bushes. Curiosity getting the best of me, I go check it out. I hesitantly reach out to it and the familiar feel of paper on my fingers. I carefully remove the envelop from the thorny grasp of the bush. This is my letter. One I sent a few days ago. I look further and notice almost all of my letters are here. Did Jack even read my letters? Did he just throw my letters away the second he saw them? Did Jack even know that I sent letters?
Jack's POV
I tried to move off the floor, but my body was still under Anti's control. That asshole.
WHAT THE FUCK ANTI.
Wow. No need to shout.
IF I COULD KILL YOU I WOULD.
Ugh. I wish you could kill me. You know how pathetic it is to be locked up all the time?
Well what else do you expect me to do? Let you go on a killing spree.
Actually, yes. I would like that.
Fuck you Anti.
I could feel him roll his eyes in my head. I will never get used to that feeling. I try to move again, but still nothing happens.
Anti
Yes?
Can I have control back now?
No
Why not?
Because, you will just do something stupid again. Also, I would like to be able to walk around for a day. Sitting in a cage is not a great feeling.
Well I can't let you walk around. So just give up already.
Nope.
Please.
Nope
Pretty pretty please?
Still no
Pretty pretty please with a septiceye on top?
Nope
I'll let you see Dark.
OKAY
I slowly feel Anti slipping away. Pushing myself back into control. I slowly stand up. The feeling of goo dripping down from my eye slowly fades. So does the annoying feeling of having something attached to your rear end. I look up and notice that Mark isn't there anymore. Probably went to get a new pair of pants. I start to walk but fall as dizziness sweeps.
When will I get to see Dark?
When Mark leaves. They are opposites after all. I wonder what would happen if they are near each other?
Great. Mark will never leave you. He is is your guardian angel. Those are the rules. The only way to get him to leave you alone is if he is fighting to protect you or something manages to knock him out.
I was about to respond to Anti, but I hear the loud thumps of footsteps coming nearer. Great. I scramble up, not wanting Mark to ask why I had planted face first in the floor. I quickly dust myself off and Mark comes in. He is now wearing navy skinny jeans, and a plain white shirt. He hesitantly walks into the room and shuts the door.
"Jack? What just happened?"
Confusion and worry is written all over his face. Looking dead straight into my eyes. Digging holes into my soul. I quickly look away from his stare. Concentrating on anything but him.
"It was nothing Mark. Don't worry about it."
My voice is just above a whisper. I just noticed how sore my throat was. Probably because I'm just thirsty.
"Jack. That was something, and don't tell me not to worry about it. I have to worry about it. You have a demon living inside of you. Do you know how dangerous that is?"
"Of course I do. I've had him all my life. Don't worry. I can control him."
He gives me a questioning look. He shakes his head and hands me my phone. As I look down I notice that my phone is exploding with texts. All from Vanoss. He worries too much. As I'm scrolling threw I notice a text from an unknown number.
'Sean. We need to talk. It's about mom. Please respond to me.'
Why would she be texting me? Sure, this is probably urgent. It's about mom, but she was the one who said to never speak to her again. Great. Now I have two things to worry about. First trying to get Mark far away so Anti can have another make-out session with Dark and leave me alone. Two, my sister.
