Chapter 15

JEN'S POV

ONE MONTH LATER

"Hi Justin," I said as I got into his car. "Three more days of school until Christmas break."

"And only a week until Christmas. That reminds me, what do you want?" he asked.

"You don't have to get me anything, Baby.

"But I want to, Shawty. I want to."

"Okay, then how about a necklace, but not an expensive one."

"Got it."

"How about you?"

"You don't have to get me anything, having you is enough."

"Awww. You're so sweet."

"Well, I try to be."

"I'm getting you something whether you like it or not."

"Fine, but nothing can beat calling you mine."

"I love you, Justin."

"I love you too, Shawty."

ONE WEEK LATER

I was just setting the table when I heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it," my mom said.

Somebody walked up to me and covered my eyes with their hands. "Guess who?"

I knew who it was right away. "Merry Christmas, Justin," I said trying to take his hands away from my eyes.

"Keep them closed."

I listened and felt his strong hands on the back of my neck. "Okay. Open," he told me.

I opened my eyes and looked down at my neck. "It's beautiful." It was a necklace that said love in cursive letters with fake diamonds encrusted in it.

"A beautiful necklace for a beautiful girl."

"Awww, Justin. You shouldn't have."

"But I did," as he said that I wrapped my arms around him hugged him tight. He did the same back.

"Alright, that's enough you two," my mom told us while setting a big platter of pancakes on the table. "Would you like to stay for breakfast, Justin?"

"Actually my mom and I are setting up for our family's Christmas party. I came over here to invite you and Jen."

"Well...I don't know..."

"Please Mom, we had our family's yesterday," I begged.

"Oh alright. What time is it at Justin?"

"1:00."

"We'll be there."

"Thank you Mom! Thank you!" I exclaimed. Justin chuckled.

"Bye, Shawty," Justin told me as he walked to the door.

"See you, Justin."
