(Beau's Outfit)

chapter thirteen; boys v. girls
B E A U

"Bye, mom!" Quinn waved before she jogged over to my car. "Hi, Ms. Fabray!" I waved through the passenger's side. "Hey, Beau." My girlfriend's mother waved. I made sure her seatbelt was fastened before I pull out of her driveway.

"So, where are we going?" Quinn smiled. "Somewhere I always wanted to take a pretty girl." I smiled as we interlocked one of our hands.

Once we arrived at our destination, I turned towards Quinn. "Surprise!" I smiled. "You brought me to a pumpkin patch?" Quinn asked me surprisedly and I nodded before we both climbed out of my car.

"You never went to a pumpkin patch in Cincinnati?" Quinn asked me curiously.

"The group home never took us to places like this. Also, the pumpkin patches weren't as good as this one. This one has all sorts of attractions." I explained as we walked to the ticket booth.

*THE NEXT DAY*

"Ooh. How can you stand that cold tub?" Finn asked me as I climbed into a steel tub filled with ice and cold water. "I'm used to cold showers dating Quinn." I joked.

*FLASHBACK*

"How about a little something-something?" I asked Quinn as we were making out in front of her fireplace. "A little something-something always leads to something more. I've been there, remember?" She asked me.

"We already did it the night before Halloween. When we're prom king and queen, it will feel just as good as a little something-something." Quinn smiled as she caressed the side of my face. I sighed frustratedly before I fell back onto the couch.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"Been there, dude. Actually, still there now, but how did we find the only two girls in high school that won't put out?" Finn asked. "What do you do, though?" I questioned.

"Well, easy. I just think about the opposite of what I'm doing. For instance, when my mom was teaching me how to drive, I accidentally ran over a mailman." My older brother stated.

"I've never actually almost killed a civil servant before." I joked. "Well, you have to find something to be your own buzz kill. You know, something that is totally not hot." He explained.

"I don't care! If you're on this football team, you'll wear a cup, no exceptions!" Coach Beiste shouted at Artie. Both Finn and looked over to see the commotion.
