chapter twenty one; a turning point B E A U
These past two weeks, I have been living on cloud9. Quinn and I are in a great place. Santana and I are in a great place. The football team and I are so close to the championships and I've been songwriting again.
Everything is just great. One thing that isn't great is Finn. The other day, I caught him staring at Quinn. I know he's trying to pursue Quinn. He's single now so, I gotta watch out for him.
"Alright, I just want to take a minute to tell you guys how proud of you I am. We didn't even have to win this game to go to championship next week, but nobody took it off." Finn said as we were in a group huddle.
"When we take a knee, we're gonna finish first in conference for the first time in McKinley history." Finn said appreciatively "Football is back, bitches!" Puck said excitedly.
"It's about time if you asked me." I said excitedly. "Maybe we should all break out into a song after we win." Dave said and I sighed deeply before I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, shut it, Karofsky." Finn responded. "No fricking way. I figure if I stay on you, you'll run away like your little butt buddy Hummel." Dave stated.
"That's funny, Karofsky, how you're calling everybody gay all the time, but you never seem to have a girlfriend." Finn replied. "Dave, if you don't shut the fuck up, I'm going to beat your ass again." I added.
"I really hope that linebacker doesn't get the jump on me. I bet it would hurt like hell to get sacked by him." Dave stated and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Alright. Slow left on one. Ready? Break!" Finn said. "Break!" My teammates and I shouted simultaneously. "Down! Set! Hut!" Finn shouted as he snapped the ball.
I immediately ran my route. I stopped halfway because, Finn fumbled the ball and the other team scored since Dave didn't guard him. "Nice hands." Dave said sarcastically.
Once the game was over, my teammates and I headed back to the locker room. "What a joke. What the hell happened?! Finn, you're the captain, talk!" Coach Beiste raised her voice sternly.
"Karofsky sucks, that's what happened!" Our captain responded. "That's crap! Hudson's a frickin' girl and couldn't take a joke about his precious Glee Club." Karofsky responded.
"Because I'm sick of you guys getting down on us for it. We're in Glee Club. What's the big deal?" Finn questioned. "It's embarrassing! We're dudes! Getting all hot and bothered about singing a Ke$ha song? It's freakin' weird." One of our teammate replied.
"Yeah? Well, maybe you'll think it's cooler when I go all TiK ToK on your face." Noah stated. "Bring it, Puckerman." Dave said and immediately Noah, Finn and I stood up.
