"..wake up....Ash, get up. Ashley.."

Pleads were hushed as the wide awaken, messy headed, blonde tried to not freak the poor, exhausted girl out. He, on the other hand was a panicked mess after hearing a strong, rustled noise come from across the place, with whispers ringing through his senses.

"Wake the fuck up please," he shushed in her ear until her green flecked orbs shone bright to him and he internally relaxed.

It took her a few dozens of seconds to finally realize her setting, state but most importantly her companion.

Ross's lips were hung slightly, trying to find a way to utter out the words of his recent situation.

His hands moved from the grass covered dirt and he touched her tinted cheeks, moving away her ginger, silky hair.

It was a shock to him how what he just encountered increased his sympathy towards her; funny how just by a simple kiss she was able to gain his entire trust, and wondering how he knew she could've used those kissable lips of his just to be let free.

'So delicate,' he thought, 'overly fragile..'

After a heavy sigh, he shook his head, worrying her just awoken body with his furrowed eyebrows. With a simple touch from her fingertips on his knees, he looked up at her, "I-I heard gunshot. We need to leave."

"Gunshot?" Just by the thought, her voice started cracking horribly. Suddenly, telling her right away struck the guilt in him. He felt her shuffle away from him to slowly stand up, careful to not move before gaining consciousness about everything around. "...Can I fully trust you, Ross?"

The question took him completely off guard and he followed her actions to stand up next to her shaking, weak body.

"I never lied when I said I knew you," he smiled warmly, trying to get her eased and relaxed in front of him- just like yesterday. To ensure her that he can't and will not harm her. He wouldn't be able to do so, even if he had every capability. "That's why I never rose a knife on you. So please. Trust me, we only have each other..."

"But they're your family.."

"And you're my only hope to escape from them....if I proceed with arguing and quarreling about not wanting to pursue this tradition, I might be their next victim," he stepped closer, smiling with complete sadness and oppression.

"I respect that you're trying to protect me, and that you're taking great care of me and doing your best to make sure I'm safe and sound without any member of my long lost family. I really do want to trust you with everything in me, to follow you everywhere you go without making a double take, to let you embrace me without feeling so preserved and overly and deeply down to earth in my own. But what if under a circumstance I end up dying by your very own hands?? Even though I would never mind but I can't let myself, the last alive family member be-" with her shaking, non confident and hesitant voice cut off, she was stumbled backwards when a pair of soft, cushion-textured lips sealed with hers in a long, meaningful kiss.

His sudden action couldn't have been any better and he knew it too well. He was confused as to why she's totally comfortable around him at night but not during the day- even guessed many theories behind it.

Her widened eyes were soon shut once she realized her state too. Her small hands cupped his soft cheeks, admiring how he was pleading for her approval of being under his arms, safe and sound. The look on his face alone brought the tenderness out of her heart and love swelled through her lips.

In sudden realization, her heart started swelling and beating faster, her tears going down and coming to a halt at their connected lips as his calloused fingertips touched her collar bone, coming down to have a feel of her beating heart.

She slowly pulled away, never leaving his cheeks, and with the fierce and intimate eye contact of the emerald orbs with the honey grizzled eyes that they shared, a following sentence was let out with complete honesty and tenderness from her:

"I trust you with me, I don't trust myself with you."

********************

"We've looked everywhere. Three straight hours without a single clue of their setting."

"Maybe if you weren't to 'Accidentally' load and fire the fucking gun, they would've been dead fir good by now!"

"Riker, shut the fuck up, bro!" Rocky shouted at both Ryland and his blonde, eldest brother. A gathering was immediately taken place inside the empty cell, once occupied by the powerful ginger. "You failed, both of you did. And if it's not to be done by midnight,we loose hope in living.."

"It's not like she's going to kill us..."

"We could accidentally shoot Ross."

"Would you ever make sense about anything in your life?"

With the quarrel bothering Rocky, he quietly gritted his teeth, clenched his fist, and silently left.

Both of them were no help, even their boss has lost hope, being too busy with his girlfriend whom is so called their sister, and knowing there was no way they were able to live with wolves surrounding every inch of the nearby forest.

His thoughts were always focused on how cruel her past ancestors were, too naive and cruel to realize that it's nothing but a myth. Despite it being false, the poor girl had nothing to do with it. With her features looking exactly like that of her great gran mother, almost identical, they all were convinced that every incident would repeat itself.

His hand forcefully held a pencil and on the the grunge paper he forcefully wrote out his inner fire; the promise he made. Of Ashley to be dead by his very own hands. Even if he was committed to kill his very own brother.
