Midnight memories (One Directional Mix)

Chapter 5

HARRY POV:

I went home late from last night, my head is throbbing and I need to take a pill for it. I got up, and started to walked to the shower. I need to get off early, because I have a meeting with a certain photographer at noon for Another Man Magazine  which they chose me to be the starring role as said they will put me on the magazine cover to be release this year. I didn't hesitate to agree with the offer, who am I to refuse? After the hiatus, there are bigger opportunity come along my way. I can't thank enough. 

After dressing up which I choose to wear a casual attire, I grab my car keys, phone and wallet and headed down the stairs. I went to my car and started to drive going to the event. 

As I arrived, Mr. Alister Mackie, the creative director and Mr. Jefferson Hack, the editorial director welcome me with their warm handshakes.

"Mr. Styles, you came. We are excited to do the project with you.", Mr. Mackie said.

"Same here Sir. I'm more honored to work with you both.", I said in a relax voice.

"We both more honored with your presence, Harry. You are  One Direction's most famous face  as traditional heartthrob, after all." Mr. Hack complimented me as he pat me shoulder and taking me to a leather couch in the room. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming.

Mr. Mackie started the talking as they explaining things about the photo shoot to be held next two weeks. They inform me about their plans. They wanted a more androgenous and fresher look- it's a Man's magazine after all. They need a nostalgic issue which I will be a successor intended to  Mr. Mick Jagger ,  fucking  Sir Michael Phillip Jagger  of Rolling Stone. They gotta be kidding be? 

"OH, wow! It's gotta be hard. Mr. MIck Jagger? Are you Serious? I thought it will be like some art wearing clothes intended for males only." I asked which made them look at me in unexpected way.

"Calm down, it will be great Harry. We will be going to film it by a theme. You will just look at the previous photo of Mich Jagger and imitate it like in the same way, but in a fresher look. We wanted it to be more nostalgic." Mr. Hack explained further more as I listen intently.

"Okay, I'm sorry. It's just that, it give me goosebumps hearing his name. He was like a legend." I said as I sigh in a relief.

After a couple of hours of talking, I say thank you and bid goodbye to them.

I went outside the building and take my phone to call Louis.

I need some advice. Really, it give me creeps down my spine. I am pressured yet excited about it. 

"Hey, it's me.." I said through the phone.

"So, what's up man? Why are you calling?" Louis asked in another line.

"Lou, I need you to help me think about it twice. Listen first, I was offered a photo shoot by another man..." I said as I continue he cut me of.

"What? Another man???" He asked me with confusion. Oh, Louis what a dumb friend you are.

"It's the name of the magazine Louis, a magazine." I replied in annoying tone as he probably looked taken aback.

He laughed momentarily, "Oh, sorry. That' great Lad! So what's the problem? It's great news" he said.

"I know man'! probably the biggest offer after our hiatus. But, man... They wanted me to take a starring role as Mich Jagger. of rolling stones?", I said nervously.

"Oh, wow! Man! it's gotta be big! Oh, just wow!", he said

"What should I do?" I asked again hoping for a smart advice.

"Haz! you know what to do. It's an opportunity! Why wasting time to have a second thoughts about it?" Louis said in a loud voice.

Perhaps, he's smart yet dumb at the same time.

I smile and feel a little encouragement from my peer.

"You are so fucking right. Thanks Lou!" I said as I tap the end call immediately without waiting for his response.

I felt more alive, and I happily accepted the offer.

I hurriedly went back to my car and started to drive more. I am thinking where should I go next, it is still early to head home.

I think about Perrie once again. Then it made me call her and ask her company at this moment. I need to share my happiness at least once today.

"Hey Pezza, what are you doing? I mean where are you?" I said when she answered my call after a few rings.

"hmm, nothing. I am just watching television shows. Why?" she asked.

"Okay, I will pick you up in a few minutes. Let's get out and have some ice cream. Don't worry, my treat." I said that made her complain. She's making excuses that she's not yet taking a shower, and more.

"It's okay Perrie. I am heading now. Just stay in your clothes. We will just eat ice cream.", 

"But.." 

"Pez, remember you owe me from last night.", I cut her of, and I end the call before she complain again.

After a few minutes, I honked my horn. I see her leaning against the gate's fence, waiting for me already. She just dressed in a gray skirt with pinky hearts styled on it, and a well-fitting pink sleeveless shirt.

"Did I make you wait that long?" I grin

She shakes her head and started to climb into the passenger's seat.

"Haz, you're ruining my day off.", she harshly complain.

"What? What have I done?" I teased her.

"I am sitting in my comfortable couch. I am living my life. Then all of sudden, you're here forcing me to get an ice cream." She pout her lips like a child

"Okay, sorry for disturbing your nice life...You should be used to it, from now on." I said sarcastically.

I continue to tease her, and she keep asking why I am here, asking for her company. She just slapped my arm and I laugh at her.

I pulled my car into a small store. 

"What flavor do you want?" I asked her.

"vanilla?" still asking me.

"Because you are not sure again, I probably buy you a double dutch, and triple chocolate flavor." I teased her again. She give me a killing look.

I went inside the store, and Perrie sat there waiting.

After a few choices, I bought us Vanilla, double dutch and triple chocolate flavor in a medium size.

I open the car door and Perrie reach her hands to take the ice cream from me.

"and now, you wanted me to ruin my diet." she whines.

I just laugh at her, and continue driving. I am thinking about going somewhere, something to brisk or to have a refreshing walks, or some place that are relaxing and breathtaking. After a few moment, I finally came up with an Idea.

Hyde Park  it is!

I wonder what Perrie thinking about the sudden invitation from Harry? :D
