Red's FRIEND?!?

Our New Teammate

Nick's P.O.V.

A few days later, we released her from her cell. She has proven herself to be very trustworthy. She now helps us with supply runs or just general security. She knows what defenses we need and she builds them. She has even befriended some of Red's men and got them to join our side. Overall, she's quite the good addition to our team. Now I'm out in Atlanta with her on another supply run to get more medical supplies. "Wait, stop. I think someone is watching us," she says. "You do?" I ask. "Hush. I'm going to the roof of this building. I'd recommend for you to follow me," she advises. Once we made it to the roof we ducked down and she went to the edge and looked around. "I see someone who has a....what?...a camera for a face....that's weird...I've never seen anything like that before..."she said, confused. "Oh, you must be talking about Cory. Yeah, he's always had that. We just haven't questioned it," I explain. "So he's a friend of yours?" she asks. "He used to be, but then he betrayed us," I answer. "I see. So then we must get the element of surprise and attack him then," she says.

Once we reach the roof next to Cory she gets up, walks back, and runs and jumps off of the roof and lands right on top of him. I drop down and tell him to take us to where Red is because I know that he is somewhere nearby if Cory is right there. "....Fine...." Cory says. Once we get close to Red, Jayden tells me to hold onto Cory because she will go to Red by herself. "ARE YOU CRAZY?!? HE WILL KILL YOU IF HE SEES YOU!" I shout in a whisper tone. "I know and I'm willing to take the risk," she replies. I take Cory and hide while Jayden goes to see Red.

Jayden's P.O.V.

Once I get closer to Red I get his attention by sounding like one of his men,"Sir Cory has been spotted and taken hostage by Nick!" "Really, so you want to know what to do now because you are one of the men that I specifically assigned to be with him to watch his back?" he asked. "Yes sir!" I reply confidently and a little bit annoyed that he won't look at me. "Well, why don't you-" he stopped when he saw me. "Heeeeey Reeeed, long time no see! How have you been this past while? Actually, don't answer that I'm very sure that you're fine. I know that you have been eating a lot of people ever since I've been gone. The only reason why I'm here is because I want to rekindle our lost friendship. I bet your surprised to hear that aren't you? A non-cannibal wanting to become friends with a cannibal. That's quite weird isn't it? I know it is. So what do you say, hm? Want to become allies again and be my friend like old times?" I toy with him. "I-I...ummmm...sure..." he answers completely confused as to what is going on. "Alright, but I just have one order for you now. My order is to go back on the diet that I put the both of us on before the apocalypse, remember? The 'No Meat' diet?" I ask, trying to keep him confused. "Uhhh...Yeah I think I do..." he replies. "Good! Then you go back on that diet for a whole year. That means no pork, beef, chicken, or people!" I say and we go to his base after I quickly run and tell Nick to take Cory back to our base and tell the others that I am quite preoccupied to come back, but I will be back sometime.
