"Hey, Jayden," Red called. "Can you go and deal with Nick? I'll take Ghetto and the others." "Sure, I thought you'd never ask."
Short Time Skip
Once I make it to Nick's cell he doesn't even look at me. "Aww, come on Nick. Not even a glance at your old pal Jayden? I'm hurt now," I toy. "Why should I look at you? You betrayed us! Why did you do that Jayden?! There was no reason-" "Yes there was! You should have been smart enough to figure out that maybe I didn't plan on coming back because of how much I loved Red!" "How was I supposed to know that! I thought that once you saw how cruel Red was you would abandon your love for him and come back to us!" "Abandon? I would never abandon Red! I already know how cruel he can be! Did you forget the reason why I left in the first place?! Um hello? It was because of his cruelty, but now I've learned that there isn't just that cruelty to him! There is so much more than that! The man I knew before the apocalypse is still there and there's more on top of that! You just don't know him that well! I don't think that you have ever taken the time to try and get to know him! From what I have heard from both sides is that every time you run into each other it just turns into a fight! Well, I took that time and he really isn't that bad of a person!" "Look, I'm sorry that I never took the time to get to know a raging cannibal, but, newsflash, every time that we could have taken the time to talk I was about to get eaten!" "And there it is again! The 'I' thing. It's really all about you, isn't it?" "No, it isn't. I do care about the others like Ghetto, Shark, and AK." "Well, what about Dr. Jin or Professor Xavier? You left then all alone with no one to protect them. We could very easily attack and take them hostage." "That's where you're wrong Jayden. We also left Major Gray, Uni, Barney, and Shelby there to protect them!" I laugh,"Oh, wow. I'm so scared. that's four people against an entire army! That's cute, but the chances of victory are slim to none. Sorry, Nick, I think we have you beat this time. there won't be any chance to escape while I'm here, but, sadly, I need to go for now. I'll see you later Nick!" I cackle on my way out.
