Red's P.O.V.
After hearing what Jayden had told me about Corey, I was a little worried as to what I would find when I went out to search for him,but I knew that Jayden wouldn't kill him instantly so I pushed on to find him. I gathered enough men to cover my six and we walked to the exit of the camp. Jayden came running up in front of me, pleading that I not go out and look for him, but I did anyway. Once we arrived in the city, I decided to split my men up to help me cover the entire city while I went for the CDC.
Time Skip
I had finally arrived at the CDC and I decided to take the back entrance. Once inside, I snuck my way through the place until I ended up in the lab. I heard a familiar sounding voice to when I first took over the CDC. I knew him as Professor X. He had heard me enter the lab and was scared of me instantly, even though he was holding a gun in my general direction. I told him, "Hey, hey, hey, no need to get violent here. I'm just looking for one of my guys and then I'll be out of your hair, alright?" He agreed to allow me to look around the place and once I looked to my right I found him. Corey was sitting in a cell bound and gagged, and he was looking at me in hope that I would set him free. I did. I opened the cell and undid his bindings. Then, we ran out of the building as fast as we could.
Time Skip Again
Once we had gotten out of the CDC and back into the forest with my men, I asked him, "Now, what EXACTLY happened that allowed you to become so easily captured by Nick and his stupid team?!?" "IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!! THEY HAD SOME FREAKY PSYCHIC CHIC WHO KNEW THAT I WAS WATCHING THEN AND WHERE I WAS SO SHE TACKLED ME AND TOLD NICK TO TAKE ME BACK TO THE CDC WHILE SHE TALKED TO YOU!!!!!" Corey screamed defensively. "What, freaky chic? The only girl who talked to me on the day you disappeared was......wait.....could it really be her.....?" I contemplated over it for a moment until Corey asked, "Is everything okay Red?" "Yeah...everything is perfectly fine. I just need to go talk to one of our members right now so just go tell the others what to do until I'm done." I said, tearing up a bit. Could it really be Jayden...The one person I knew that I could actually trust on my team aside from Corey...No....It can't be her.............Right? I thought, dumbfounded.
