Chapter 4

(Nancy's POV)

"You guys ready to go" I yelled to everyone. The movie starts in 15 minutes.
"Ya! Let's go!" They said. It was only me, Pony, Johnny and Two-Bit were going. I'd assume Soda was off with Sandy somewhere, Darry was busy paying the bills and idk where Steve went to be honest. Ponyboy said Dally would meet us there. I was so nervous because Pony said he'd make me sit next to Dally.
Once we got there, Two-Bit ran off, probably looking for a girl, so Ponyboy, Johnny and I sat down in a section where people without cars should sit. Just a couple of rows of fold out chairs.
"Boo!" I heard someone whisper in my ear.
"Ahhhh!!!" I screamed. I turned around and saw that it was Dally. He smiled. His smile always made my heart melt, he was so perfect...
"Did I scare you?!" He said
"Eh...only a little" I giggled. Dally hopped over the chair and sat down next to me.
"Hey, you two want anything. Me and Johnny are gonna go get popcorn and a Coke."
"Nah, I'm oka-" I started to say, when Dal cut me off.
"Ya, get me and Nancy both a Coke, I'm buying." Said Dally.
"No Dal, it's okay really."
"I insist" he tossed a couple of coins to Johnny. Dally is really being a total Doll tonight, I've never seen him be like this to a girl before. Even that Cherry girl a couple years back...
"Hey Nanc...uh I need to ask you a question..." I could tell Dally was a little nervous for some reason cause he twiddling his fingers.
"Yes Dally?" I said.
"Well, I was wondering if...ya know...you wanted to go out with me sometime...?" He finally spit the words out. Omg!!! Dally just asked me out?!?!? Play it cool Nanc, play it cool. Play it hard to get, that's what!!!
"Are you asking me out?" I say.
"Well, kind of....ya, I guess. Yes, I'm asking you out." He said.
"I'd have to think about it..."
"Okay, tell me when you've thought about it" he said.
"Yes." I say.
"Yes what?"
"Yes, I'll go out with you." I smiled a big smile. He smiled back.... :)
