Decision

A/N: Thank you for all the support you're giving me! I am pretty much happy and a bit sad that my most successful story is near to end already. Like I said, this arc is only an extension. I hope you don't get pissed off with what he chooses.

Lenalee POV:

I looked over at Hikaru while he walked away from us. I could feel that something changed already. Allen's memories have totally returned already but his old memories won't last if he doesn't choose me. I don't want him to choose me nor Ito Mia. He cannot choose between the two of us. If he doesn't choose me and choose Road, I will be free from my immortality while Ito Mia would slowly become Road and his memories as Allen Walker would drift away, too, but if he chooses me, his memories as Allen will stay while Road and I stay, too.

The only way for my innocence and for the last Noah memories to disappear into this world is for him to choose friends who could accept his past, may it be severe and unbelievable or, he could choose to remain neutral. I grinned happily when I noticed that he is close to Arima Kousei and Miyazono Kaori. Arima Kousei could be the man who can help us. He helped me gather and carry my things to the faculty and gladly put them down on my table. He bowed down and when he was about to leave, I held his shoulders to stop him. He faced me once again and asked, "What is it, ma'am?"

I looked inside the faculty and found out that we could talk privately. I told him to lock the door and close down the windows. He obeyed me and when everything is set, I began looking at Kousei's eyes if I can really trust him. His eyes were innocent and sweet. I sighed and finally, I was ready to tell him what I want to tell him, "It's time you learn something about Hikaru, Arima Kousei."

He was filled with curiosity when I spoke up and he looked up at me as if I will be telling a bedtime story.

"Something I should know?" he asked.

"Yes. Do you want to know?" I asked.

His eyes sparkled and knew that he wanted to hear it. I closed my eyes and opened it. "He is a reincarnation of an old Exorcist, Arima Kousei. He was once Allen Walker," I told him.

Arima Kousei just sighed. "If you think I won't believe you, that's wrong. I could feel an old soul inside Hikaru and that bothers me."

I was glad that he became friends with someone like him until someone knocked. I told him to open the door, and after he opened it, I found Ito Mia staring at the two of us.

"Allen Walker has finally been awakened. What do you plan to do?" she asked me.

I laughed a bit. "Let's go where he is. He wants to have a word for us. I'm bringing Kousei with us."

Kousei joined us and Ito Mia spoke his name suddenly that shocked him. Hikaru sighed after scolding us and he finally told the three of us after explaining to him that Kousei understands his situation. "I can't choose anyone. If I choose, I will regret it. I want the old memories of Allen to disappear completely without the feeling of sadness."

My heart dropped and hugged him. After he said it to the three of us, I looked at Ito Mia and Arima Kousei. They all seemed happy and I'm the only one feeling very much sad. He hugged me back and told me the old words he once spoke to me before he left the Order with tears falling down his eyes, "I love the Order where you and everyone else are!"

Slowly, I felt my legs weakening. The innocence is slowly turning into dust while Ito Mia would totally be like Hikaru. He chose none of us and I was shocked by his decision.

Hikaru POV:

I felt Lenalee's leg weakening and so, I quickly held her from her shoulder. I found out soon after that her Innocence turned to dust. I felt her body weakening, too. When her body collapsed, her eyes looked at me and she slowly told me with tears falling down her eyes, "Thank you for releasing me from my curse."

Ito Mia and Allen quickly went beside us. Their smiles disappeared and both were very much worried for Lenalee.

"Lenalee, I... did not choose you to stay with me for so long but... now that I did not choose you...," tears fell down my eyes.

She touched my left cheek. "I'll soon be reunited with everyone. You will forget yourself as Allen Walker slowly. Ito Mia would also forget Road's memories. By not choosing me, you did free the world from the curse of the past. I love you, Allen."

"Allen Walker loves you, too," tears fell down my eyes.

She closed her eyes and there it was, her innocence left her leg and went to dust. The three of us brought her in the clinic and explained that she began getting tired in the rooftop. I hope she doesn't die like what she told me. It will totally break my heart to know that if it comes true. Allen's memories may slowly fade away from my memories after I decided not to choose her but knowing that she's in the verge of death saddened me.

School ended after five o'clock but Kousei and I were shocked when we saw Lenalee being transported out of the school on a gurney and bring her to the nearest hospital by an ambulance. She was also given an oxygen to help her breathe. I was about to faint but Kaori was able to catch me.

"Are you alright?" he asked me.

Kousei stared at me and tears fell from my eyes and since he witnessed what had happened on the rooftop, he knows what makes me feel uneasy. "We'll find out about it, okay?" he politely told me.
