Bookman and Link quickly went inside Vatican but before they meet with the pope, Link asked Bookman, "Why does Allen want me to protect the pope and what is their connection?"

"I have already answered. If you want to know more, ask the pope himself," answered Bookman.

...

All looked at Allen. "Allen??" Lenalee asked.

"If he did not do that, I wouldn't have a chance to meet the priest who took care of me for seven years...It was my fault why I was sent to a circus where I met Mana Walker... He searched for me for so long until with Marian Cross's help, he found me again until he became the youngest pope. Wisely, you will die here," Allen activated his innocence.

Everyone, including himself were surprised by the sudden change of the color of his Crown Clown. It wasn't white anymore but black like his father's. That's where Lavi understood everything. Allen and Nea do not actually know that everything that is happening now is his unnamed father's plans. What is his father's name? Is his father isn't really the legendary Heart Wielder that got killed by the Millennium Earl? Or they were all connected by blood? All Heart Wielders... Lavi couldn't stop his surprise. His eyes widened in illumination and understanding. "Allen... Nea... Mana... The unnamed hero thousand years ago..."

"They are all related in blood, yes. The pope found out about his family's secrets upon seeing him in pain inside the church while he suffer. I thought he'll die. Only those related in blood can carry another's soul like Red Walker. He killed himself to carry on the mission of defeating the Earl," Marian interrupted him.

His twinkling eyes turned into deep understanding why Allen had chosen him to be the witness. If he took several minutes to understand what had happened to his crown clown, Allen smiled at him, telling him he now understand why he had been called as the Destroyer of Time. "My father acquired the Apocryphos all along... He was able to control the guardian of our innocence. Not one Noah would be able to destroy it... He may be an independent innocence... But... He is still bound to serve and guard the wielder. He tried dissolving me inside himself but that was the human whom he possessed. When I freed him away from the Cardinal, his powers passed on me," he raised his hands and told them, "And this is the proof."

He began activating his Sword of Exorcism and a piercing wave grew and began around the White Ark. Wisely also began to draw his weapon. He knows that using a sword wasn't his best but he knows he has too if he has to fight against the Heart Wielder and the Noah of Music, Nea Walker.

Both of their swords touched each other violently, each one is definite to destroy each other's swords. Wisely uses two of his hands to hold his slim but sharp and long, silver sword against Allen's sword that stopped its resemblance to Adam's sword. Like his coat, it became black and now, longer, sharper, slimmer and lighter.

"Heeeeehhh.... I'm surprised. Even your own sword changed," he mocked Allen but Allen didn't mind it, Nea Walker was with him, watching him from the inside of his soul. Allen's heart... He could feel it... Red Walker... He wants revenge... Allen Walker... I know he'd consider me as his uncle but the truth is, we're just cousins...
