A/N: Thank you to my loyal readers! The end is near!
...As I slowly drift away inside my dream scape, I saw different events that seemed so real to me. They were painful, horrific and last of all, full of misery.
Suddenly, another soul came up to me. The boy in front of me does have a strange mark on his face and he does have white hair. "Nice to meet you, Hikaru-san," he told me which made me very much surprised and afraid.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Allen Walker, Hikaru-san. The events you are seeing right now are my memories. Up until now, I still couldn't believe that I will be reincarnated. As you drift away and look at my memories, you will awaken as a different person. I will be you. You and I, we're the same person," he told me.
In that instant, I saw his body get bloody and his chest stabbed by a very large sword at the sky which literally shocked me and put knives on my chest.
I don't get it!
I don't get it!!
I don't get it!!!
I don't get it!!!!
Lenalee!!!
I just wanted to know who she is! What's happening with me? Am I really a reincarnation of someone? I kept pondering on things that confuse me when I felt some strong force pulling me painfully.
In that instant, I floated up above the world full of fire and destruction filled with strange, dying creatures. Everything went white until I realized that there were souls thanking me.
The scenery changed after a few minutes.
Lenalee Lee leaps off of Headquarters and begins a desperate search for me. Inside of the Order, desperate personnel begin to ask miserably why I would leave, some believing I have betrayed them and others firmly loyal to me, but unable to explain it, themselves.
Then I finally remember everything. I got separated and died as an exorcist, not as a Noah. I didn't allow Neah to take over me even he can.
I remember escaping with Tyki Mikk and Road Kamelot who protected me against the Apocryphos. I came with them outside and we all drifted away. I planned going back but I couldn't since I was afraid of the Apocryphos.
Lenalee had caught sight of me and tried to stop me but I activated the ark and left her. Before I leave, I told her that the order is my home and I will always be an Exorcist.
Slowly, my memories as Red returned to me and it helped me know more about myself.
I may be Allen in my past life but I know who I am now. I am Hikari, a half-Japanese. I have new friends named Kousei and Kaori. Both are musicians but thanks for my old memories as Allen to return to me, I already understand now why I know how to play the piano.
Slowly, my eyes open up and my mom at the present time looked up at me worriedly. "Hikaru? You're still Hikaru, right?" she asked me.
I sat up, laughed and told her, "Of course, I am!"
She happily hugged me and when I looked around, I noticed that I was home. I quickly stared at my mom and asked, "I thought I was brought in our school's clinic?"
My current father walked in and talked to me, "Your memories as Allen Walker have returned, am I right?"
My mom gasped. She held father's strong arms and said, "You know it?"
"Of course, why wouldn't I know? His old memories were the memories of my great ancestor. It was passed around that it will be in our bloodline where Allen Walker will be reincarnated. When Lenalee came up to me many years ago, she already told me the truth. Allen Walker will be reincarnated as my son," she told her. After that, he looked at Allen, "Hikaru, you may be having Allen Walker's memories but you are still my son, please don't forget about it. Also, as your memories as Allen have already returned to you, I don't know how you would live normally from now on. I know you're confused but Lenalee found Red's family many years ago. Allen, we are descendants of your brother whom you never knew," he was now kneeling in front of me until my father hugged me back.
I hugged him back and promised them, "I will stay as Hikaru, mom... dad."
My present day mom hugged me happily and told me, "I was so afraid, son! I thought you'd leave me!"
After that, father told me, "I brought you back here if you ask how you got back home. Welcome home, son."
...
The same day, I went back to school where Kaori and Kousei met me. They were both asking what actually happened to me but since they were different from me, I never told them the truth which disappointed them. Kaori left us for a while and went back to her room since her violin classes will begin in a few minutes.
Kousei felt that I was keeping a secret and he spoke to me which he seemed to see through me inside our classroom, "You're more mysterious than I. I feel like you seem to be a different Hikaru than the Hikaru I became friends with. You just had a fever but you changed drastically. You seem to be more comfortable and also, you do seem happier."
I grinned at him and promised him, "I will reveal something to you later. You may not believe me, though but I wish you understand and can help me. I have to choose between an old friend whom I loved before or an old enemy in the past who died because of me."
Kousei's eyes were shocked to hear that coming from me until he finally told me, "Don't lie, understand?"
I stood up from my seat and told him, "Of course, I won't."
That same moment, I stood up and went out of the room. Our break time was a bit longer than other people who are studying other intruments. I am still currently with Kousei and as both of us are walking at the corridors of Okutsu College of Music Affiliated High School, we met Lenalee once again. She was holding a clipboard and some books. Kousei went up to her to tell her that he can help her when Lenalee stared at me sadly, "Are you alright?"
I feel detached around her. I don't know what to feel around her since remembering my old memories as Allen Walker. I wanted to continue living as Hikaru but when I stared at her legs, she still has her innocence with her and she's very much the same Lenalee I know before I died.
Kousei stared at us while he's holding Lenalee's materials and asked, "Do you know each other deeply and not just teacher-student relationship?"
I grinned at Kousei and told him, "I'd leave the two of you for a while. I'll go at the rooftop for a while."
After that, I told her, "My past memories have already returned. After you return your things at the faculty, please meet me at the rooftop. I'll be waiting for you."
Lenalee smiled at me and assured me, "Better choose Road than me. When you choose her, you'll lay me to rest and you can finally live normally. You also may slowly forget those old memories when I'm gone."
I was shocked by what she said and I've noticed that there were tears falling down her eyes but since I was afraid of making a scandal, I hesitated to hug her and I proceeded to leave them both. I quickly went at the rooftop, stared at the orange sun and asked myself that if I really do choose Road, will Lenalee die? Will I really forget being Allen Walker? What about Ito Mia? Ito Mia does have Road's memories and I have Allen Walker's memories. Lenalee, I still want to choose you but if I do, what will happen to us?
"Allen Walker... no... I should call you, Hikaru-san."
It was a familiar voice but when I looked up who it is, I was shocked that there were three people in front of me and I exclaimed to the girls especially to Ito Mia whom I know called me by my past name, "He may not believe anything we'll be talking about!"
....
