Chapter 3 - Revealed

Hiro was sat in the lounge reading a book when Lotti walked inside to clean around. The male marked his page and set the book aside then grabbed onto Lotti's hand pulling her down to sit with him.

"We never really got a chance to talk." Hiro began. "We were childhood friends..."

"Excuse me?"

"I gave you a necklace when we were younger; before we got split up." Hiro paused. "See it had a single silver ring attached to it with the letters L and H meaning Lotti and Hiro."

"But I- I thought I'd lost you." Lotti spoke quietly with tears in her eyes.

"I survived that day. But I did never find you again." Hiro said as he used his thumb to wipe away Lotti's tears.

"My father took me away to a safer place. After the fire I-"

"You forgot about me."

"Not straight away!" Lotti interjected. "I cried for months thinking you died in the fire!"

"But I'm alive and well. Just is my... mother."

"You said you didn't have a place to stay. Did something happen? I always remember you being beyond rich and having a large home." Lotti said fixing her fringe.

"I refuse to return whilst my mother is still marrying that fool." Hiro said angrily clenching his fists. "I can and will do fine on my own."

"Hardly." Lotti said bluntly. "You don't have to treat him as your father but I believe he will make your mother happy, don't you want that?"

"Yes." Hiro sighed. "I'm worried about her. He's not the oh so brilliant man he claims to be." Hiro smiled. "Enough of that. You should probably get back to work." Lotti nodded and stood up. Pulling the rim of her shortened dress down heading over to the bookcase. She ended up dropping a book and bent forwards to pick it up though felt a pair of hands on her bum. She squealed and jolted forwards knocking into the bookcase making it fall over. Sebastian just happened to be stood at the door as this all happened keeping an eye on his lover around the purple haired noble.

"That's quite enough from you." Sebastian said angrily walking inside the room. "I think it's in your best interest to play a game of pool with Lau." Hiro narrowed his eyes at Sebastian before stuffing his hands into the pockets of his trousers and heading out of the room. Lotti was cursing to herself as she pulled the bookcase to stand up again. "My love, please do let me take care of that. Go tidy elsewhere." Sebastian kissed Lotti's cheek as the maid cautiously walked out of the library.

Sebastian now knew it would be a terrible idea to leave Lotti and Hiro alone in a room. He tidied up the library relatively quickly and just as he finished Ciel was calling him. Sebastian headed up to Ciel's study quickly.

"Sebastian, I want to catch the killer. Tonight. And I wish to use Lotti as bait as she was already targeted." Ciel said as he wrote on paper.

"Yes, my lord." Sebastian replied. "Should I prepare a carriage for later, young master?"

"Yes. And make sure Lotti is prepared."

"I'm counting on you, Sebby." Lotti said as she clung to his arm. "Master said I wasn't allowed to attack the killer and you've to catch her."

"Don't worry, my love. Nothing will happen to you, I'll make sure of it." Sebastian said reassuringly. "Now, wait here in position. I'll be right over there keep your eyes on me." Sebastian kissed Lotti briefly before joining Ciel in hiding watching the situation.

"Earl Ciel Phantomhive, getting yourself involved in my case again?"

"This was never your case to begin with, Francesca. You may be intelligent but I understand the entire situation whereas, you, don't." Ciel replied. "Now, if you don't excuse me I'd like to catch this killer."

"I know just as much as you, Ciel." Francesca paused. "Demon killer prove anything?" Sebastian walked beside Ciel then turned back to Lotti quickly.

"How did you-"

"There's a lot you don't know actually, Ciel. But I admire you with all the times you've fixed a problem her majesty uncovered." Francesca tied her hair up quickly and crouched beside Ciel and Sebastian. "Did you know a guest in your manor is in fact, a demon?"

"How do you know about Hiro?" Ciel asked furrowing his eyebrows. "And once you've explained that I must request we focus on the task at hand."

"He's a friend of Alexander Midford, I got to know him through your cousin. Besides, what noble doesn't know him? Hiro is quite the attractive man." Francesca finished then focused on Lotti.

"Sebastian! Now!" Ciel yelled. Sebastian sprung into action and ran towards Lotti who stood there dumbfounded. The killer struck Sebastian's shoulder. But Sebastian still grabbed the girl disabling her from her movements.

"Oh Bassie! You know just where to touch a lady!" The girl freed herself revealing shark like pointy teeth.

"Grell Sutcliff." Sebastian said as the reaper combed out the blonde in his hair.

"Do you like my dress, Bassie, darling?" Grell grinned spinning in circles, his red hair twirling along. "It would've been better in red, don't you think?"

"Give me a reason why I shouldn't just kill you here and now." Sebastian sighed holding his shoulder.

"Because you're no match for me!" Grell said loudly. He brought out a chainsaw and started it up and before Sebastian could react properly, the chainsaw met Lotti's face cutting over her left eye. Sebastian clenched his fists and punched Grell square in the face. "That was quite a punch, Bassie."

Suddenly Grell was then kicked from behind, the red headed reaper landed on the floor with a thud.

"You're filth." Hiro spat. "Doing that to a lady." Hiro pulled a disgusted face then grinned at Sebastian, Lotti, Ciel and Francesca who stared open mouthed.

"This proves it." Ciel said regaining his posture.

"I told you my information was reliable." Francesca said triumphantly.

"What?" Hiro asked.

"We had no idea you were a demon." Sebastian told him. "Never for a second did I believe that I'd say this but, good job."

Hiro bowed dramatically before he too was kicked forwards. William appeared out of nowhere. He walked over Hiro and to Grell pushing his glasses up his nose. Sebastian then began tending to Lotti's eye taking the uttermost care.

"You've yet again disgraced us, reaper Grell Sutcliff." William sighed. "You're temporarily suspended." William then grabbed onto Grell's hair and dragged him away.

"That hurt.." Hiro groaned getting himself up from the ground and rubbing the back of his head.

"I believe once this heals it shall scar, my love. I apologise for my tardiness," Sebastian said pecking Lotti's lips quickly. "Please, get some sleep."

He laid Lotti down on the bed and kissed her head tucking her in. He smiled softly and brushed her bangs out of her face.

"Wait, Sebby, don't leave me." Lotti pouted. "At least wait until I fall asleep." Sebastian nodded and climbed onto the bed beside her wrapping his arms around her waist. She closed her eyes and Sebastian waited until he was sure she was sleeping until he left to tend to Ciel's needs and prepare the other workers for tomorrow. Sebastian knew it would be incredibly busy especially for the young master.
