Ch. 18

Jules POV

I kept trying to remember what happened, but I just can't. Its like my wolf didn't want me to see what happened. I was still waiting for someone to explain to me what exactly happened and how I got these injuries.

James came back but was still upset and not talking, because he is blaming himself for what happened to me when I keep telling him it wasn't his fault. I know I am not getting any answers from him anytime soon, so my mother is my only hope.

But, she is tending to Nick, Tisha, and some mutt that had KIDNAPPED her! Kidnapped! She has been gone for a while and I am just finding out! Well, as long as she is okay.

Anyway, now I am just sitting here staring holes into James' back because he refuses to talk to me or even look at me for that matter.

"Please, don't make me feel worse than I already do" He whispers.

"What are you talking about?!" I kind of shouted at him. 

He did not reply, he just stayed like that looking at the ground. 

"NO, NO, you are not going to continue this! You are going to talk to me right this instant!" I yell.

He got up and made his way to the door. That did it. I jumped from the bed, in a very ungraceful way might I add, and blocked the door before he could get out.

"Go lie back down, you shouldn't be up" he said in a monotone voice.

"No. Not until you talk to me" I said firmly.

"I am talking to you" he said, still sounding very distant. 

"I mean really talk to me. Not these distant comments your making" I retorted.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY?! I ALMOST GOT YOU KILLED! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW? I SHOULD BE THE ONE IN YOUR POSITION RIGHT NOW NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND" He exploded on me. I flinched from his explosive tone.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled" he whispered.

"No, its okay. I'd rather have you yelling then being distant with me. And James, you did not get me almost killed, I am perfectly fine, do not beat yourself up about it." I said.

"How do you expect me to do that? Your my mate, its my job to protect you." He whispers.

"James, look at me. You didn't do anything wrong. You did everything in your power to make sure I was safe, lets just get past all of this alright? Please? For me?" I whisper back.

"Anything for you beautiful" he says. Smiling at me and then swooping down slowly to kiss my lips. 

Boy have I missed those.

Nick POV

(A/N: This is going to be Nick talking in the past tense, telling us what happened when the three of them came home)

OK. So this is how it was settled. We went home.  We all bathed and I made sure that mutt was no where near my mate, but for some reason Tisha was upset at me for it. We talked to the Alpha and Luna, her parents, and they had decided to put Xavier in the pack prison until we decide what to do. But for some unknown reason Tisha would not let them throw him in the prison which, of course got me upset and we got into an argument. 

Basically, to sum it up, we aren't talking as of now. 

Guess where the mutt is?

Heh. That's right. In prison.

Well, was. 

It turns out, Xavier only thought Tisha was her mate, because the Boss Rogue Man whatever he was put a "spell" on him. The first female wolf that he laid eyes on, he was going to think it was his mate, it was supposed to work both ways, on the person who you drank it and the person who looked at him, but since Tisha is an Alpha's daughter it did not have as strong as an effect as it should have, which is why she felt a connection.

Turns out it was all a sick twisted plan, that didn't even pan out until James and Julie arrived at the fight scene.

According to the rogues everything was going haywire up until there grand entrance.

But Boss Man is dead now, and the rogues have signed a peace treaty with us, or rather are signing one right now, as I speak. 

Julie healed, and went to live with James and they became the Alpha male and female of Silver Light Pack.

Me, well I am going to become Alpha and Tisha is going to become Luna once we fully mate, which I am hoping is soon, but she isn't ready yet and I respect that, so, until then...

A/N: Ok. This is the last chapter in this story. Why? Because I simply do not have enough time to write anymore. It is not fair to any of us if I keep you waiting for months only to get a crappy upload. 

Therefore, I summed up the story in Nicks POV.

I am not happy with this book but thank you to all my followers and voters and commenters for sticking with me until the end!

It means a lot! 

I will have another book coming out that is not about werewolves, but that is not until a very very very long time. I have to organize everything and I want to write a couple of chapters berfore I upload anything so do not expect anything from me for a while.

Sorry if this is a disappointment, because I know it is for me, but what can you do?
