Born a Fighter

Chapter Two

                 We waited inside while the pack meeting was taking place outside. I wasn't in the mood to listen to hours of the same old subject I've been hearing all my life.

Nick, Tish and me, were watching TV while my dad came inside with my mom and Nick's dad, the Beta.

"Kids, we will be having some guests shortly" said my dad. That can only mean another pack is coming to stay with us for some pack related thing.

"Who?" Tish said.

"The Silver Light pack" my father replied.

"What for?" Nick said. He didn't like that pack very much, in fact he didn't like any other pack besides ours.

"The pack next to theirs has been having rogue attacks, apparently they want to start a war against pack wolves, so we are meeting to discuss what to do." Joseph, Nicks dad, said.

"Where exactly will they be staying?" I said.

"Here of course" said my mother.

I hate when we have guests! They always end up bunking with me in my room! Ugh. I hope they Leave within a day or two.

"How long will they be staying exactly?" asked my sister. Of course worried about the same thing I am worried about.

"Maybe a week?"

"A week!" all three of us replied.

Great, just great. 

"When will they be here?" i asked, hoping it would be like a month away.

"Tomorrow" my mother said.

"TOMORROW?!" again all three of us said.

"Why so soon?" Nick groaned.

"Because this is urgent" Joseph said.

I don't know why he is flipping out so much, he doesn't even live with us. He doesn't have to see their faces 24/7.

"Alright Nick we should be heading home now" Joseph said.

"Ok" replied Nick, still upset about our upcoming "guests".

"Thank you Alpha and Luna, we will be here tomorrow bright and early" Joseph said.

"Have a goodnight" replied my father.

"Goodnight, say hi to Sally for me!" yelled my mother. That women is so full of energy, and so sweet.  I know where Tisha gets it from now.

Next Morning

"Jules, wake up!" my mom yelled.

"I'm up!" I yelled back.

Ugh. Today the Silver Light pack is coming. I am so not looking forward to this week. 

I got out of bed did my thing, and went down stairs. 

"Honey, there has been a change of plans" my mother said.

"What do you mean?" i asked.

"The Silver Light pack are not coming today, the Luna got sick so they could not come, they will be coming in 3 and a half weeks." 

Wait, if they are coming in 3 and a half weeks, that means they will be here on my birthday!

"Does that mean we have to postpone my party?" i asked.

"No of course not honey, we will still have a party just with extra guests" my mother said.

"What if i don't want other people at my party?" i questioned.

"Do not be rude" my mother scolded.

"Where is Tish?"

"She is outside with Nick" 

I went outside to hang out with them.

A/N: Kind of just a filler. Next one will have different POVs, make things more interesting. This chapter is pretty boring to be honest. Promise the next one will be better.
