Sorry for the wait, for a while there I had know idea how to start this chapter, and the last couple of weeks have been hectic. Enjoy

Feyre

A day passed, and still Maeve made no mention or move regarding my little trick with Aelin's mind. But I could fell her eyes, her magic watching and spying on me, though I knew she was not there, that she was hold up in her private cabin, planning her next move.

As the sun sank from the east to the west, I felt the eyes of the other fae aboard this ship fixed on my every move, whether it be from my considerable gifts of healing or they k'new I had snuck into Aelin's mind. Tamlin remained a solid immovable wall beside me, snarling at those who came to close, to either of us. 'Tamlin?' my voice came as a croak, 'Tamlin?' I asked this time louder, my voice more full. He turned his head to me, a golden eyebrow arced in a silent answer. 'Tamlin, what are we doing?' I asked him, we had only been in this strange realm for less than a week and already I could tell that there was much more at play here than a rivalry between kingdoms, the way Maeve had commanded Aelin whipped, it was more than punishment or what every it was that Maeve was trying to achieve, it was obsession. And I wanted little part of it. 'It was part of our bargain with Hybern, aid Maeve in what ever way is demanded of us.' he answered, and in that moment I had never felt an urge stronger then I did then to punch him in the face, avoiding the question with an answer to another. But I restrained my urge to punch him, because even though we were in another realm, I still had my pretenses to keep up, so I calmed the storm raging in my heart and turned my eyes from the sea to his face. 'I don't think that I can do this,' I said, it wasn't a lie. 'Yes you can,' Tamlin said, the words oddly reassuring, 'you are a good person, the best I know. And I know that you will do what you feel is right, you wont let Maeve torture an innocent,' he gripped her shoulders forcing her to look at him, 'but you- we, must fulfill this bargain, and if that means helping Maeve then that it what we have to do.' His voice firm, final. I shook off his grip and stepped towards the rail of the ship. Tamlin did not follow, instead he moved away.

I stood at that rail for what felt like hour upon hour, thinking, wishing I was back in the Night Court with Rhys and my friends, instead I was here, fulfilling a bargain I knew nothing about.

'What you did, healing Aelin, it saved her life,' a voice said beside me. I had my suspicions as to how it was before I saw his beautiful face.

A short chapter I know, but I will write more soon. :)
