Chapter 2

I opened my eyes. My whole body was sore. I let put a grunt as i sat up in my bed. I walked over my closet and pulled out my black skinny jeans and a blue t-shirt. Put on my silver and gray converse and got my necklace and bracelets on. I looked at myself in the mirror. I wen back to my closest and put on a hoodie to hide all the cuts. I walked to the bathroom and put on my make up on, hiding my bruised face. I headed downstairs. I saw my mom cooking, she looked at me and smiled.

"Hey honey, you hungry?" I put my head down and shook my head

"No". I heard my mom sigh and continued to cook. I grabbed my IPod and walked out the door. I put my hoodie over my head and put my head down. I put my headphones on and put my music on shuffle. I shoved my hands in my pocket and kept my head down.

After a while, i ran into someone, making me fall to the ground... it fucking hurt!! My whole body screamed in pain.

"Fuck!! Dude!!" "Watch where your going next t-" He stopped and looked at me.

"I'm sorry... are you OK?" He asked, reaching out his hand. I gladly took it and looked at him. Oh my, he was perfect. His body showed through his tight dark grey shirt. He was tall, beautiful eyes and smile.

"Woah, Drew what are you doing?" If Kaleb knew i was checking out another boy. I would have the worst beat up ever.

"Yeah, sorry i got in your way." I said looking at him then putting my head down. There was a four second silence.

"My name is Mason by the way." He said reaching out his hand. I shook his warm strong hand.

"My name is Drew, Nice to meet you Mason." He smiled, a perfect smile.

"Drew!!!" I heard a cold voice call my name,my heart stopped...Kaleb. He came running over to me, He had evil in his eyes but tried to act like he actually loved me.

"Drew, what took you so long?" "I bumped into someone.

"I said with my head down and my bangs on my right eye.

"Who's this?" He said, coldly pointing to Mason.

"That's Mason"

"Oh, well come one Drew."

"Ok" Kaleb dragged me out of Mason's sight.

"And why the fuck were you so late?!?"

"I told you i ran into someone!" I said through my teeth. He slapped me across the face, hard. I screamed and put my hand where he slapped me.

"Don't ever talk to me like that again!!!!!" I just nodded.

"Now, let's go and put on a damn smile on your face." He grabbed my hand tight. I picked my head up and put a smile on it. Acting like i was the most happiest girl in the world. I looked in the corner of my eye and saw Mason. Everything in my body was beating faster.

He just saw what happened...
