Chapter 4
I came to my locker today and I got a note. It said "meet me by the dumpster at 2:30" I really hope it's Amanda that sent the note! But first I need to get to class.
Oh great I'm tardy now! Mrs.Hampton will have a huge fit because we have a test. "Miss Lucy Hallaway!" she snapped. "Why were you late young lady? We have a big test today and you wouldn't be able to take it because your LATE! Well I am going to be nice and let you take the test. But one more time you are going to the principle!" "Wow are you allowed to NOT let a student take a test?"I thought.
Well it's 2:30 and no sight of Amanda yet so I wait. Finally, someone comes at 3:00! "So you are..." A man said. "Lucy" I said cautiously "Who are you?" He stared at me "You don't recognize me?" "Umm n- no sir," I said starting to studder. He shook his head "Well it's me John. Remember we were friends in kindergarden?" I was in total shock. Was it really him? "John! Were did you go in first grade?"I asked. "That's not important I heard from Amanda,"he said
