Chapter 2
Amanda stated tearing up "My foster parents are abusive!" When she told me I was about to cry "What?!" I screamed even though we are in the middle of the hallway and people were staring I didn't care. I said why didn't you tell me sooner! My family could have taken yo- I didn't finish because I broke down crying.
"If I told you Juliet (her foster mom) would kill me!" Amanda started breathing heavy "Oh no she I going to kill me!" I took a deep breath "Its okay don't freak she won't really kill you will she?" She nodded her head. "That's why you couldn't come over she is evil!"
I was thinking "oh what should I do?" Amanda said "I'm going to run away!" I wasn't listening to her that much but then I said "What! Are you crazy?" She said "No,"very calmly. "When? To where?" It took her a moment to think "I don't know, I'm going to wing it," she said. The she packed her bookbag and went home for the weekend.
