(NOT REWRITTEN)
We stopped in front of huge oak doors that seem to heavily gaurd whatever layed ahead. William looked over at me worriedly and I sent him an assuring smile. I pushed open the doors.
The first thing I saw was a girl. She seemed about 12, had nearly red brown hair, golden eyes, and was strangely familiar. She turned around and stared at me with such adoration, I was forced to look away. William exited the room silently.
"Uh... Dude, Headmaster or whatever, who's that?" I said, pointing to the girl. She started messing with the pen in her hand.
"Firstly, I would love it if you called me Headmaster. And she is Amber, Amber Frost." It took me a few seconds to register the new information.
"Frost?" I ask curiously, "As in the Frosts? So is she like a cousin or something?" I saw Amber get up frustratingly.
"No! I'm your sister! S-I-S-T-E-R! Sibling! Related by blood!" she sat back down and crossed her arms. After a few moments I decided to speak.
"Sister?" I turn to ask the Headmaster. He nodded.
" Amber Frost, the only known Fire-user in Frost family history. Even as young she is, she impressive control over her element." My eyes widened.
"Really? And she's only about 12?" I ask, my voice full of awe. I heard a person clear their throat behind me so I turned around.
"I'm 15, for your information." She said as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Oh, okay," I thought about it for a few minutes. "I'm Phoebe, I'm 19." I said smiling, then held out my hand.
She hesitantly stared at it. Then, she placed her hand in mine and shook it firmly, with a smile.
