(NOT REWRITTEN)

"So is this how you work it?" I say while pressing a few pictures on my new iPhone. Jessica nodded, looking quite proud of me for whatever reason.

"Heeyy! Wait! I gotta save our numbers!" She pulled me down when I was getting up to leave. So I saved their numbers.

"Bye!" I said when I got to the door.

"Buh-Bye!" The trio said in unison. I laughed as I headed out the door. A few minutes after I closed the door, a crashed into a brick wall. The wall started to shake. Do brick walls shake? I backed away to see see a tall, handsome guy. And he was chuckling!

"Are you okay there?" he asked, sending me an amused  look. I just glared at him and started walking away, until he grabbed my arm and made me stop. I turned around to him, and was surprised to see his black eyes staring at me.

"Um.. so yeah, I'm sorry. I should've watched where I'm going.." he said. I sighed and turned to face him fully.

"No, I'm sorry. I should've payed attention to my surroundings." he brightened up a bit.

"I'm Blake, Blake Adams! Nice to meet you. are you new?" he questioned. I nodded and walked away. He was persistent and followed suit. I stopped and abruptly turned around.

"I'm Phoebe Frost, are you trying to befriend me for money or something?" I asked, my voice cold. His eyes widened and his mouth hung open, like he couldn't believe I was a Frost. He finally composed himself and ran hand through his short, black hair and muttered to himself.

"No! I don't care about the money! Can't we just be friends?" he asked with a fake smile. I was almost convinced. Almost. I shook my head.

"I can tell that you are lying." I walked away. When I heard him follow after me, I froze one of his feet to the ground. He fell with a loud "OOMPH!"

"I am BLAKE ADAMS! The most popular guy in school! You'll regret this!" he called after me. I didn't care though. I had to see Amber.
